I started the thread today because I actually have one for once and didn't want to forget. Flame away, but I LOVE Miley Cyrus.. Well, her music, not her. She's a train wreck, but one that I'm a happy bystander for!

I can't stand dirty dishes in the sink and last night there was a bowl, a couple of drinking glasses and some forks, knives and spoons. I knew the dishwasher was full and clean, but instead of emptying it like I should've, I just found room for those dirty dishes and ran it again.

DH will be home tonight and he can empty the dishwasher for me. It's my least favorite chore.

I moved my work hours from 9-5:30 to 8-4:30 so I could leave in time to get A to daycare. So far, I haven't showed up at 8 even one day. I usually get here 8:30-45... but my FFFC is that as long as I show up before anyone else in the office (which I do) nobody knows the difference and I don't feel bad leaving early.

I hate the phrase, "sorry, not sorry." People sound like a snotty little preteen jerks to me when they say that. If you aren't sorry, than don't even say it, it just sounds bitchy to me.

My FFFC: I screen our calls and won't answer when it's a particular friend of my DHs because he ALWAYS wants our families to get together. His wife is super woman with a 4 year old a twin 1 year olds, and she talks a mile a minute and frankly being around them exhausts me. I will "forget" to mention to my DH when his friend calls and I know dh is fine with that.

Yes! My issue with that one is I had an ex that said it constantly, it starts sounding childish. There are a lot of other words to use in place of it.

eh, my office is a bit of a hot mess. nobody knows WTH is going on anyway, and I'm not really planning on staying long.

my boss has always says that as long as work gets done, he's not terribly concerned where people are and when people get here. office hours start at 9 and there is rarely any more than 2-3 people here before 9:30.

My IUD fell out before Christmas and I've been too busy/lazy to make an appmt. with my OB to figure out my options.

DH and I had sex this week and the condom broke and I've been stressing about it ever since. My cycle isn't predictable yet at all so I have no idea if it was near ovulation time.

Confession: part of me kind of wants to be pregnant so I can just have a second one and be done with pregnancy/newborn stage (I only want two.)

Haha, I probably would except for the fact that I'm supposed to wait a year because I had a c-section. Also, looking forward to not being pregnant this summer. Considering TTC in the fall though.

Mine is that I'm secretly glad my weight loss affected my supply because now I have an excuse to keep eating more and not worry about my weight too much.

I have one - my grammar sucks! I often mix up your and you're (I know how to use them, i just autopilot don't.) I can probably say I don't know how to use affect and effect properly, as I mentioned in another post and I am sure there are a lot more! My mum and sister use yous which makes me shudder ie hope yous had a good day! Its common in my hometown so I'm thankful I don't use that!

I got a bonus today at work for a small job we closed out. I'm happy I did because I've been debating on quitting which I don't want to but I have this love hate relationship with my job. My confession is I haven't done much recently to deserve it. Mainly because I have felt used and abused.

I work for my dad so it's not an easy walk away deal and I'm supposed to take over the company in 4 years.

It's just been stressful lately and I haven't had a raise so who knows when. I've been here ten years so it's just wearing me down.

So I got a bonus and that makes me feel more appreciated. It wasn't big but the job wasn't either. I'm supposed to get more for the next job we close out and that one is supposed to be big because it's a 1/2 a million dollar project

I disagree. While yes, it's creepy, who cares if there are new people who want to participate? The ones who think they are going to change us, like that gem earlier this week, can get bent. Why do we (using we loosely as the group as a whole) have to keep chasing newbs away? I guess if everyone wants to keep this exclusive now then I'll just have to accept that but I don't get it.

By all means join in. I still think it's extremely weird that they claim to have stalked our board and just now want in.

After yet another argument about DH being obsessed with video games and putting them before taking the time to help with DS he decided he needed to delete them all from our computer. He said he wanted to and he will wait until DS is older to play them.
My confession: I feel guilty about him not playing them at all. I am grateful he made that decision, but I know how much he likes to play them.

My husband mentioned to me last week that it upsets him that I havent even attempted to initiate intimacy since the baby was born and he feels unwanted...I do feel bad about it, but am just so tired and have no sex drive!

My confession is that the other night, I knew he was exhausted from his work day and half asleep, so I decided that's when I would "initiate" something because I knew there was a 95% chance he'd say he was too tired, which he did. Now he can't say I haven't tried!

And I know, we need to get it going again, and I'm sure it will get much better once I'm getting sleep again...

You did an amazing job and should not feel bad! I remember some of your posts here and on the BF board. Try to give yourself credit for how hard you worked at it and that you made it as far as you did. Everything about parenting is a balancing act. Sure there could be benefits to breastmilk for for more time but there are definitely benefits to you being a happy, (relatively) rested mom. Try to let go of the guilt and enjoy the extra time you have for yourself and with your LO.

I understand your feelings completely. I am still BF but every other day decide to stop due to struggles. So far I've managed to keep going but will likely stop soon. I know I will feel guilty but it may be for the best if it improves my stress levels. And I definitely think bottle feeding would be faster than what I've been doing lately. Hugs to you!

I rarely get a chance to view discussions on this board. When I do I read old posts first, with the exception of UO & FFFC bc they're juicy.

My FFFC: If someone offered me money to give a bumpies username from this board, I couldn't. IJDGAF. Who posts what, when, where, how many times, old vs new, doesn't determine the level of crazy/weirdness in my book. So if I have a question I'll try to find the answer by looking through old posts first. If I can't find it, I'll ask this board. If I get an answer, great. I really appreciate all the answers I've received so far on this board. If not, oh well. I certainly wouldn't ask a life or death question and wait for the internet to give me my answer.

I use a blanket when I put DS down. I tuck it under his legs and have no issues. At this point I'm not really worried about him suffocating himself. He usually kicks it off anyway.

You have no reason to feel bad. You did the best you could do. I am proud of you. Give yourself more credit.

I find dog hair on DD's pacifier and clothes all the time, but I'm not too concerned about it. Our dog is an inside dog and stays fairly clean, so I figure if she happens to get a few hairs in her mouth it won't kill her.

My FFFC isn't juicy... I use my pants as a napkin a lot bc LO is usually asleep in my arms or something so I don't get up and get napkins to avoid disturbing her. Usually at home I'm in yoga or pj pants so I don't really care.

That's me when I'm home. I also use DD's onesie/pants/etc as a napkin. I figure there's a decent chance they'll get pee on them anyway, what's a few crumbs?

I could have written your post myself. Every day I want to quit but then the feelings of guilt take over and I talk myself into "one more day". When I was pregnant I had a goal to make it to a year and now I'll be lucky if I can make it to 6 months. It's just always been a struggle for me to maintain supply and keep up with her appetite. Then to make matters worse, she absolutely refuses a bottle from me unless it's breastmilk. She literally screams and flails and vomits it all out if it's not breastmilk. I feel like I'm stuck...

1. I still have my Christmas decorations up. I have no clue when I'll have the energy to take them down.

2. I still use the nipple shield with DS. I just haven't felt like teaching him to nurse without it if it's working so well for us.
