Typical pain after D&C???

I had my D&C on Tuesday. Tuesday I felt {physically} fine. Wednesday I started feeling achy. Now today my body hurts so much. Like to the touch... I can't wear a bra without being in pain.. My head down to my lower back - face, scalp, neck, throat, shoulders and back... My husband can't even hug me.. I also have shooting pains in my lower abdomen. Not cramps. Pain.
Is this normal? Did anyone else experience this??

    Do you have a fever? I would give the Dr a call and discuss, they may want to see you.

    I had something similar where I was "ok" the first two days after the procedure, then on day three, I had strong abdominal pain and a low grade fever and was just miserable all around. I called the doctor to make sure I didn't have an infection and he didn't seem concerned since my fever was lower than 101. I don't think the worst of it lasted much longer than that day. I would definitely call your doctor to make sure that the specific pain you're experiencing isn't a sign of concern, especially going into the weekend. Regardless, I hope you feel better soon! It's that double whammy of dealing with physical pain on top of the emotional pain that makes this even harder.

    I had a laparoscopy as well as a D&C on Wed night and its been awful :( I had to go back into the ER around 1am Friday morning because the pain was so severe. Im thankful that I have a very understanding and patient OB who told them to give me IV pain meds until I was comfortable. But its now Saturday afternoon and im still extremely uncomfortable. I haven't been able to go longer than 5 hrs without taking my pain meds which is hard for me cause I don't like taking anything for pain. I wish I had some brighter words for you but at least know that your not alone!!!

    I had a d&c on wed and have had very mild cramping and nothing more. In fact the mild cramping pretty much stopped on friday. I would definitely talk to your dr.
