Heartbeat only 89 bpm...anyone have positive stories where things pick up?

Had another ultrasound as a follow up to our ER trip last week. I am almost 8 weeks along. I was bleeding horribly but that has since stopped. Today they told me my uterus is tilted and it is hard to see things even with a transvaginal u/s....the doctor found a heartbeat but it is only at 89 bpm....should be around 130-140. He said my body is just trying to heal from all the bleeding and I have another u/s scheduled for a week from today. Anyone have any positive stories where the heartbeat picked up and baby was ok???

Are you sure you are 8 weeks? If you are a week or so off then the heart could have just started beating?

I am going by the start of my last period which I know down to the minute. I has an ultrasound a week ago and there was a heartbeat then too but they didnt say how fast. So I know it's been beating at least a week. It's just scary. I was told because of the subchorionic hemorage I had that there might be a bruise that is making it so the baby isn't getting enough oxygen and could cause a low heartbeat. I am barely spotting at all so I am hoping things will just improve since there was still a heartbeat yesterday two days after bleeding stopped completely. Unfortunately all they said was there would be a long week of waiting until the next ultrasound.
