  How long was the break? If they were recent I don't see a prob, unless they were injects! Deff call the RE, MAYBE they can phone in a replacement if it's minor!! Good luck!

  Expired how? Date on the box... Or past the number of days a vial should be open? Not sure if that really matters.
  
  My re had me take some that were a few days past the open limit, my nurse said he hates to waste them when they are so pricey. But like the other girls said, ask your RE.

  I used expired progesterone suppositories this past IVF 2ww, only used a few expired inserts - they were 2 months old and were refrigerated this whole time so the Dr did okay it.
  

  Me: 32, DH: 34.
  Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
  2 IUIs = BFN.
  1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
  FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)
  
  14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
  Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).

  Hey there. I haven't posted here in forever, but happened upon your post. Drug companies have to make sure the drug is good until AT LEAST the exp date, meaning they make sure the exp date is well before the drug would no longer work. 

  
  

  I used Follistim that was expired by 4 months and still got a good response and no bad s/e. Granted, I still haven't gotten pg yet, but at this point (2 IVFs in) I'm pretty sure it's due to other factors other than expired meds.  

  
  

  Most drugs will last several months past their exp on up to a year. If you kept the meds how they are supposed to be stored (room temp / refrg. / away from darkness / humidity / etc) they should be fine. I wouldn't want to throw that kind of money out!

  
  

  FYI--I did ask my pharmacist and he agreed that a few months past exp is not going to lose any of the drug's effect.

  11/13/13: 5dt-- 2 blasts (Luke and Leia) 5AB and 4AB, 1 frostie

  11/20/13- 11/23/13: light positives on FRERs and Wondofos

  11/22/13: BFN per RE office (under HCG of 10)

  So the pharmaceutical industry is full of scammers. Turns out that the meds are not expired. The expiration date on the box states 8/13 but 1/14 on the vials. 8/13 is the expiration date for the sodium chloride solution.
