I'm not even sure the info I have is current. I know they completely changed stat allocations and around the time I left plus to awesome (mastery) was introduced ....

They changed so much shit around.

*crotchety voice* back in my day PVP was world only. When we got two battlegrounds we loved them. Even if the ice giant bugged out. And if you wanted PVP rewards you had to give other people your account information to keep you logged in 24/7 to get to High Warlord. There was no such thing as dailies - if you wanted money you spent 80 hours getting fishing up to max skill to go farm stoneskin eels in tanaris for flasks. Not everyone had welfare epics. If you wanted to kill a world spawn raid boss you had to corpse run level 1 alts out to the spawn points.

That was the ONLY WoW as far as I'm concerned.

I remember when only the alliance had I win buttons (paladins blessing of salvation) and they used to tell us that air totems (which were only group wide, not raid wide) were the same thing.

DH used to spend TEN FUCKING MINUTES working on groups because of totems and totem range.

It was telling that when TBC came out that Furor rerolled Paladin like immediately.

@etoille...you were in EQ? That sounds familiar. Were you on Spinebreaker server? All this WoW talk makes me want to revive my Mage. She's in her wedding dress signed out in the AH. Me and hubby were total nerds. Miss the days of pulling all nighters to raid. LEROOOOOOOOOOY JENNNNNKINS.

P.S. I think it's cool you and DH met in the game. Me and DH knew each other before but we did invite WOW peeps to our wedding. :-)

Guys this probably won't surprise you but at one point I was in a top tier raiding guild :P.

We killed virtual monsters for epic loots before anyone else for a while.

DH and I were hardcore nerds. We met in WoW. DH was in the guild in EQ where one of the now lead devs of WoW came from.

From 7pm-1am 5 days a week we raided for like 2 years.

@etoille This kind if sounds like the type of things dh did..only he used to play ultima online. Ever play that? I know thats old school. Ive never really been a gamer so im not sure how much alike these two games even are.

No, no rose. I got the cheapo dress when I was probably level 50 or so, so nothing special about it. DH and I quit before expansion packs beyond level 60 came out. It was taking over our lives and I was majorly neglecting my cat. ROFL. I did log back on when I was prego but the graphics was making my morning sickness really bad, haha!
