So I know I'm pretty late in the game to probably join the club, but I thought that I might as well make an account for thebump.com since every time I use google to ask a baby question this site pops up.
I'm a recently single dad (26) of boy/girl twins (born July 21st) whom for internet purposes I will refer to them as E1(girl) and E2(boy). We recently moved to Oklahoma from South Dakota to be closer to family. I will contribute as much as I'm able too, between the twins and work.
I'm open to a Q&A if that makes you all more comfortable with my presence here.

1- No, their mother left us when the twins were 13 days old.
2- No. These two are enough of a handful.

As for the yoga pants- do tights count?
I think that superfluous use of exclamation marks and lol's are fine, though I generally use them when I am being sarcastically annoying.
Best thing about being a dad? That's rather hard, but I live to see them smile. Though E2 is rather conservative of them. I usually rush home from work just to see them, if that is any sort of clue.

You would be correct the hardest thing would be being a single parent, the second hardest part is, I worry if I'm doing right by them. The mom is the one with all of the instinctual knowledge. I grew up an only child and never babysat kids, so I worry that I am doing something wrong or that I'm not spending enough time with them.
While I do miss sleep it isn't a big issue. I usually work 8am -6pm and the dynamic duo usually is asleep by 10 or 11pm and sleep till morning.
