Stupid first day back to work :(. Rant

I haven't been on much since having my sweet little girl, but I will be now that I'm back to work and school. I wasn't super active here before, but it's always been a fun place to come.

First day back was yesterday. I went to lunch, and got all plugged into my breast pump to start pumping when..... The plastic breast cup cracked on one side!!! I've had my Playtex breast pump for 5 years, and it's lasted through 2 kids so I shouldn't be surprised, but I really didn't need that on my first day!

I can pump one side at a time, which helps. I called Playtex to get a replacement breast cup, but the model has been discontinued and the rep said the new cups aren't compatible.

Argh!!!

Missed you ladies. I'm glad to be back.

    You can take your pump to BRU and trade it in for the Medela for $200. It's still a good chunk of money, but its a really good pump! Sorry your first day back sucked. :|

    Good to know. Thanks! The closest BRU is in Vegas, about 120 mile drive, so we won't get there for a while. We live off Amazon Prime because of where we live :)

    My insurance covers a manual pump only :(

    The sale is only for about another week... They have it on sale online for $240 though, I think.
