Anybody else have trouble finding a baby book?

Because we searched EVERYWHERE, and the options were pretty dismal. Every single book we liked ended up having at least one page that said "How Mommy & Daddy Met" or "Daddy's Family Tree." Finally, after literally MONTHS of searching, we found this woman (who is the owner of an awesome company) who agreed to customize the pages for us at a totally reasonable price! The entire book is absolutely beautiful... way too good to keep to myself. :) Her website is https://www.hugsandkissesxo.com/

    I had been looking at baby books recently as well, and also discovered (not shockingly) that they are all hetero-parent-centric. I was pretty disappointed. My wife and I found a few possible options on Etsy that we like, and we have also toyed with the idea of just making our own (my wife is very crafty and great with DIY projects that end up looking professionally made). At any rate, we are procrastinating on this for some reason. We really like the idea of a baby book, but we also want something a little more unique, so we are still undecided.

    With that being said, thanks for sharing the one you found -- that looks great! I will be sure to share this option with my wife.

    Me - 30, My wife - 31 , Together for 10 yrs - Married August 2012

    5 medicated IUIs w/ RE (March - July 2013) = BFN

    Fresh IVF Cycle in September 2013 resulted in 18 mature eggs, 16 fertilized, 12 made it to day 5. Transfer of 2 Grade A blastocysts on 9/15/13, and 10 embryos in the freezer!      *****BFP on 9/25/13 - betas: @10dp5dt = 232; @12dp5dt = 465; @15dp5dt = 1,581   *********William George born June 4, 2014*********

    Another option is The Wonder of You - that's what we have. It's super sweet. It's a companion to the book On the Night You Were Born.

    We found this problem too. We eventually found one we LOVED which works perfectly for us because we are nerdy. If anyone else enjoyed the sciences, you can check it out...

    It is super open to different family arrangements, although it has 'study lead" and "research co-author" so it may not work perfectly for single parents...

    We were having trouble as well and stumbled upon the Hallmark store.  They have extra pages in the back to exchange the Dad page for another Mom.  Its really cute too!
