Thanks everyone!! I'm not as nervous as I was this morning about it. It seems to come in waves. I'm sure it will hit me again tmwr morning before the appt
Ask them to wait to turn on the screen until they know they aren't getting a crotch view! That really helps, because it takes away the temptation to really analyze .
You can do this! It's kind of fun to wait and see (that said...we are hoping to find out this time, team green was fun with DD though!)
they have a big screen tv mounted on the wall!
Well you better get your eye lids fixed before then! ;P CLOSE UM NOSEY! Also, you can do it! GO TEAM GREEN!
We were Team Green with our first and are with our second!! We made cute T Shirts with our first and plan to do the same soon for this baby! Every time someone said "Oh wow, I could never NOT find out!" it was like an extra little support to keep "green". Go Green!!!
Last time we were team green and the place where we went did A/S by getting all the pics/measurements they needed, and then letting us see the baby on the screen. She was able to show us limited "safe" views where she knew we didn't have to worry about the baby flipping around. It was easy to be Green.
This time we wanted to do a reveal with our family the next day, so for the sake of the scan we were Green. It was a new place and they did the A/S from the beginning with us watching. She whipped the wand around without trying to shield anything from us. I guess she assumed we wouldn't know what we were looking at if we weren't told, but I was able to see clearly more than once that it was a girl. I asked her if we were going to be told to look away, and she said yes, at the end when she looked for the sex, but I had already seen it. Our moms came instead of DH and they didn't see anything that they could make out, so I didn't say anything. SIL went somewhere else and she said the same thing happened to her.
My point is since you're on #4 and are pretty sure what to be looking for, maybe they can do it the way I had it done first. It made being green a lot easier! Good luck either way!
