This is number 5 for us. Pregnancy number 4 for me. We have 2 boys and 2 girls so we are going to take a picture of the two girls (looking competitive) on one side and the two boys (looking competitive) on the other with me in the middle. It will say across the top: Who will win the tiebreaker? Find out september 2014. That will probably be our Facebook announcement. As for our parents DH couldn't wait to tell and my mom guessed as soon as I walked through the door. Mother's intuition I guess.

Well that's the thing... I can't make up my mind!!! Lol I'm the kind of person that "over thinks" everything and I want it to be perfect... So I do it to myself... But I think we are leaning towards the picture taking idea... But not for sure. we are waiting until at least after my first appt to tell and that's feb 4th or until the 12 week mark, so we have sometime to finalize it.

For FB I think we're set on a Valentine's day announcement. I have a hard time keeping things a secret, so having a set date with a theme is helping me. I'll be about 10weeks I believe.

We're taking a much more sardonic approach, because I've been completely resistant to having kids pretty much my entire life until now, and we're both a little weird with dark senses of humor.

Some already know (mostly those who would know immediately anyway just by not seeing a wine glass in my hand), but for the big FB announcement, we're waiting until 22 Feb which is supposedly the Norse Apocalypse. I'll post the first u/s pic and say "Well played, Vikings....well played."

We are ordering custom labeled candy bars that say "Happy Valentine's Day, Grandma/Aunt/etc." and seeing how they react to their new title. Hubs and I are both oldest children, so it's pretty much everyone's first grandchild, niece, nephew.

I found these both on Pinterest, for our fb announcement I think we will announce it on Valentine's Day and do something similar to this picture and then put this saying in the caption.
