Dad was military, we bounced from FL, NJ, FL, VA, FL as a kid. I went to elementary & high school with the same kids.
DH & I met and married in Florida and then relocated for work to Northern Utah for 7 years, then Oregon, and now Cincinnati OH is home.

Fair enough, @supgabs. My drive was definitely longer today too and that gets old. I think it's all the memories of sledding, snowmen and snowfort making, snowboarding, skating, and broomball that make me love the stuff. I think it's fun.

@Snowpants...I live in Minnesota too and love winter! It's been a bit cold this year but I am loving the 20 degree heat wave we have been having and absolutely love the fresh snow we just got!

Grew up in wayyy upstate NY (near Montreal, Canada) but have been living in the Philly 'burbs for the past 5 years or so.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet but if you are a member of the June '14 FB group, we started an interactive Google map where everyone can mark their locations so you can see who lives nearby! It's actually pretty cool and will be great for coordinating meetups later on.

@babygabe614 Central VT, About a hour from Burlington. VT is beautiful but there is seriously nothing to do there! haha. I also don't miss the cold and snow.

@PinkKEL9 I hear you on not having much to do. That was one big reason why I moved to a more metropolitan area after college, but boy do I miss those mountains. I still have a few friends up there so I get to visit a couple times a year.
