How much weight has everyone gained? I am going to be 21 weeks on Friday and I have gained about 9lbs I will have to double check when I get home to make sure but last week I was at 8lbs. I was worried I wasn't gaining enough but my doctor said I am text book and baby is growing well so no worries. Just trying to see where everyone else is.
16 pounds in almost 19 weeks. My MW and I talked about it yesterday. Since I was a "bigger woman" (I hate that -- I feel like as a size 12 I'm a pretty normal woman) the recommendation would have been to gain around 15-20 pounds in pregnancy, so clearly that's fucked. So I'm aiming to "slow down" my gain for the second half of pregnancy. Nixing all sugar, juice, etc. It sucks, because I eat pretty healthy -- no fast food, very little junk food, lots of meat and veg. It's just that a) it's winter in Ohio and b) I took a new sedentary job, and c) I gained about 9 pounds in my first trimester from sleeping and being able to eat nothing but mashed potatoes.
@mskristen2003, we should start the MooMoo weekly check in lol. We can discuss how wide our asses are getting while debating peanut butter chips vs. hot fudge on our ice cream.

I weighed myself yesterday and have gained about 10 pounds in 17 weeks. I was having all-day nausea over the weekend so I know I probably lost a few pounds from that. I made up for it last night with two bowls of pasta!
Almost 20 weeks and technically -1 because of all the weight I lost during my 1st tri nausea. I have an entire cheesecake in my fridge that's been calling my name so that number's gonna change real fast.
9 lbs at 18 weeks. More than I'd like but it is what it is. It's winter and I'd normally gain a few pounds and I know come spring I'll eat differently and exercise more. Not concerned.
15 pounds at 19 weeks and as much as I would like to say idgaf, I can't bc I feel like a cow. With my bmi I should gain about 35 lbs and I am on track for that but I just feel like I am getting wider rather than getting a bump
i'm at +2 lbs. at 19 weeks and started at a healthy BMI. i've also been concerned i'm not meeting milestones and gaining like i should be. my doctor called me a "late gainer" and said not to worry: that the weight would certainly come.
I wouldn't fret..you'll have weeks you gain nothing and weeks you pack on 5 lbs. I just try and keep it healthy and think that what I put in my mouth is nutrition for the baby.
Ladies with little gain- don't get too cocky. It can turn around in a second!
I have a feeling this is going to be me. I am 20 weeks and put on 3 lbs last week alone and I ate so healthy! I think the second half is going to be my downfall.
Sounds like everyone is very different depending on body type, pregnancy and lifestyle. I am actually surprised I have not gained more than 8lbs since I am not eating as healthy as I usually would have. I don't eat junk food though I just will opt for a bagel now versus eating eggs. I am on track to gain +1lbs per week now until the end if I will only be that lucky!
8-10 pounds (depending on the day) between 19 and 20 weeks. I had gained a little over 10 by my 16 week appointment and my midwife told me I was a bit ahead of the curve, but between the holidays being over and this cough/cold I have, my appetite has scaled back and I have lost a little.

When I went in last which was at 16 weeks, I only gained 2 lbs. I was worried but doctor said it was fine and LO is growing strong. I hope to not gain more than 20 this time around since last one I ate like a cow and gained 40 and that was WAY to much!

At my last appointment (12 weeks) I hadn't gained anything. My 16 week appointment is tomorrow (I'll be 16w4 days) and I know after the holidays, there will be some weight gain. I will report back tomorrow.

My doc is targeting 15-20 total, so I'm trying to choose carrots over donuts, but sometimes donuts win.
