This reminds me of when I was in San Fransisco and my friend took me to this coffee place that just had an ass ton of different blends. I ended up getting an iced turkish blend with a splash of almond milk, and this particular blend they paired with fresh mint leaves. It was AMAZING. I really wish that shop was near my house.
@1linedrawing, haven't come across that one but I live in SF. Do you remember the name or area where you encountered this fabulous concoction? I'm intrigued
Super Mega Caffeine Junkies: ever had a coffee drink called a "shot in the dark"? I'm waiting until after baby's out to indulge because there's a massive amount of caffeine in one, but it's two or three shots of espresso in a medium sized cup, and then filled to the top with strong brewed coffee. Like an Americano, but instead of topping up with boiling water you use more - that's right, MORE - coffee!!
Starbucks and places like that will usually make you one. Wheeeeee!!!
Thank you, @HummingbirdMama!! That is perfect, the Wharf to Wharf ends in Capitola, so we usually stop at Coffeetopia on the way back to SC. But I will make sure to check out Gayle's Bakery. That place actually sounds familiar, I am wondering if I have walked by it or been there before.
@golfergirl08: Yeah, if you haven't been to Gayle's, its a MUST... legendary status, grew up just across the street and have watched them explode over the decades. You won't forget it if you go and I guarantee you'll be eager to return

@1linedrawing: LOL, I know Philz... Guess I operate on auto-pilot as I've never dwelled on the menu and just go for what I know I like! Making a mental note for the next time I stop by there, which will be soon since its only a few blocks away and our current 72 degree weather warrants iced coffee Thanks!!!
I love the smell of coffee, don't like the taste of it, but that doesn't stop me from going to Starbucks. I love their caramel apple cider. The only downside, it tastes terrible with biscotti.
