August 2014 Moms

Expecting in late August, no symptoms.

I'm now 6 weeks but other then slightly sore boobs, and lite occasional cramping I have no symptoms.... Could this be a missed AB? I don't see my Doc for another 3 weeks..

Re: Expecting in late August, no symptoms.

  • There's no way to tell unless you go to the doc.  No symptoms may not really mean anything either way.  Some women have them, some don't. Sorry you are worried

  • Every woman is different. It does not hurt to put an extra call in to your doc for early blood tests, advice, etc. especially if you are worried. Since experiences vary SO much between women, I would not read into any one good or bad experience from others. Keep us posted!
  • I was feeling awesome last week and was even thinking "maybe I'm a lucky one" and then BOOM - 6w2d the constant nausea started and it's gotten a little worse each day. I hate to say it, but I bet you'll feel crummy eventually.

  • I'm 9w5d and haven't had any symptoms except sore boobs. I had a us at 6 weeks and all was fine. Everyone is different, but I understand the worry.
  • Some people have symptoms, some people don't. There are plenty of women who are without symptoms on that "I didn't know I was pregnant" show. If you are really worried you could call your doctor, but you will need to convince them to give you an early u/s. It is the only way to measure the baby and check development.

  • I have commented about this several times. My symptoms are very mild and there are times I dont feel pregnant at all. I dont have a dr. appointment until next week. I am so nervous I even took another PT this morning (crazy I know...but it was positive). Nervous about my first appointment too b/c I am not sure she will do an u/s or check heartbeat.

  • Me too girl! Enjoy it while you can!!! Symptoms mean nothing and we still early!!! Very early!!

Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    Baby Dust To All!!!

  • Don't worry! I am 7w2d and I barely have symptoms. I just recently became more hungry. The only other thing I have is some very minor cramping (kind of a dull pain off and on. Feels almost like I strained a muscle) but that's it! No MS, no sore boobs. And I had 2 ultrasounds and the baby is fine. Hang in there I'm sure you will be just fine!
  • There are more people out there in the no symptom boat with you than you think. You can look back at some of the other posts and sometimes women who have been there with us but have birth to healthy babies share their stories and it helps ease the worry. I am 10w5d and the only two minor symptoms I had (occasional sore boobs and trouble sleeping) have both subsided. I live in Canada so our appointments go a little differently..well mine anyway..I don't get to try for the heartbeat until after 12w and u/s is nt til after 20w so no easing my worries for awhile unfortunately. If worrying like an insane person is a symptom I have that one for sure lol
  • Totally understand your concern. My symptoms didn't really hit till about 8 weeks. My first real appointment isn't for 2 weeks. I wish I had some sense of "everything is ok" before then.
