My daughter was three days early. I worked Friday, started contracting Saturday night, and had her early Sunday morning. I had a fairly easy pregnancy last time, and so it wasn't horrible to work right up until the end. I wanted as many days of my maternity leave to be home with my baby as possible. As for work projects, sometime around 36 weeks I made lots of lists, and had who would take over what projects worked out with my boss. Then I just made sure everything was as obvious as possible, so when I didn't come into work the next person could figure out where I left off. Some of the less important things just waited for me to come back.
I worked up until I went into labor. The plan was that I wouldn't work past my due date. I went into labor on my birthday (a Saturday), went to our 7 hour birthing class on Sunday, and had him just into Tuesday morning, at 38 weeks. Really hoping labor does not last as long this time!!
Dd was born the day before g her due date. Ds was induced at 40+4 because of health issues.
Edited:
With DD I was taken out of work 3 weeks prior to her birth because I fell down the stairs and it put me into active (non-productive) labor.
With DS I left a bad job in August to work from home as a Teaching Assistant for my university's online program. I ended up requesting a long break because I didn't want to end up having to grade papers while I was in the hospital, but it turns out I would have been forced out of work due to hypertension and borderline pre-e and if I hadn't.
I was induced on my due date due to hypertension. Pit only and had her after 8 hours. I was 3cm and 80% effaced when I went in though.
I'm a therapist so I started transitioning some of my clients to other therapists a few weeks before my due date. I worked until the Friday before my Weds. due date.
#1: I was induced a week early. I worked up until the day before my induction.
#2: I was a week late. I worked up until my due date and took that last week off (but just because I had vacation days left that had to be used before the end of the year; baby was born 12/14).
I went into labor at 41 weeks and had dd the next day. I worked until I went into labor. I am a teacher and just kept my daily plans updated and made long term plans as well.

I started having painful contractions on my own at 36 weeks. I went to the hospital and they ended up giving me an IV medication to stop it because I wasn't dilated. Then at 38 weeks I started having small contractions that progressed after I had my 38 week appt that day and my OB did a membrane sweep. We went to SAMs right after and within 1 hour I couldn't walk because my back labor was so bad! We went home and I are a big dinner and started timing my contractions (they just felt like Braxton hicks) but they were coming every 2-3 minutes so I went to L&D and they admitted me! 8 am the next morning my OB broke my water and started me on a pitocin drop and I had DS at 3:41 that afternoon!!
I had my membranes stripped at 39 weeks ish. It was a Thursday. I had planned on starting my maternity leave the following Monday, but decided to start it on Friday, so I called off at like 2 pm on Thursday. After my appt DH went to the mob museum and dinner and walked like 76 miles. Came home, went to bed. 4 am went to pee and lost my plug. Contractions started within the hour.
I went in to labor at 40 weeks and 2 days. I stopped working about a month before DD was born because my job at the time required me to be on my feet a lot and I couldn't handle it with my big belly :-)
Went into labor at 40w6d, had him at 41w. I worked up to 39w5d. This time I'm planning to start FMLA at 40w5d (because Labor Day is a holiday at 40w3d, so I figure I may as well take advantage ... ).
I went into labor at 40w6 days on my own. I was supposed to be induced the next day! I stopped working around 39w. I wanted to work until the end but found it easier to just pick a day and have that be my last day at work. I ended up being at home for 2 weeks waiting to go into labor but I was so uncomfortable at the end that it was worth it. Once the baby came I did wish I would've had two extra weeks with DS instead of using them up before he was born.
I'll play it by ear this time with choosing a last day of work. It kind of scared me to think about going into labor while at work but now I work is actually closer to the hospital than my house so it might be better!
I had my son a week before his due date and I went on early maternity leave by my drs request due to my GD and work environment, 6 weeks prior to his birth.
I went into labor at 39 weeks. I worked till Friday, then went into labor Sunday night. However, I have an office job so I spend most of my day sitting down.
I worked until 1 week before my due date. My last day at work was a Friday and my water broke 4 days later on Tuesday. I delivered in the early hours of Thursday morning after 30ish hours of labor (only about 10 were active after they gave me pitocin). I delivered three days before my EDD
BFP#1 10/17/11, m/c due to SCH 11/21/11 @ 8w4d; BFP#2 2/26/12, baby girl arrived 11/1/12; BFP#3 12/3/13, EDD: 8/18/14.
With DD i had my membranes stripped the day before my due date, she then arrived on her due date! With DS i was induced at 39w1d for elevated liver enzymes.
I was induced 40 weeks, in labor for 24 hours then had an emergency C Section. If I had to do it over I wouldn't have gotten induced. I think dates were off. My baby was small and not ready to come out!!!
Similar situation... Induced at 39.4 after 28hrs emergency csection. Baby was NOT as big as they had projected via ultrasound. I wish I had listened to my instincts and my body. This time I'm hoping for a natural VBAC.

Exactly one day before her due date I had contractions that woke me up. Had them for a couple hours, told DH at 6am but told him to go back to bed. He was way too excited!!! Then I didn't have another contraction;)
Exactly one week later my contractions started again but not as strong. It was the day of my scheduled induction. She was really comfy in there.

I was put on bed rest at 37 weeks for high blood pressure, which was a huge bummer. At 39 weeks on the dot, I woke up with contractions - my first throughout my entire pregnancy. I had a midwife appointment that afternoon and I was at 4cm and 90% effaced, up from 2cm 4 days earlier. My contractions were consistent all day and increasing in intensity, so my midwife said we could head over to the hospital and she would come over in a couple of hours and break my water. Sounded good to me! I ended up having my son the next morning (after 2 hours and 44 minutes of pushing), at 39w1d.
Had My DD at 40w3d. I actually went into labor on my original due date! I worked until about 2 weeks before my due date. I wanted some time to myself before having her.

I was induced almost 3 weeks after my due date but I left work on my due date because I had PUPPP. Google it, it was awful. Luckily it only happens in 1% of pregnancies.
Induced at 41 weeks. I was fort knocks and DS had no desire to come forth. 27 hours and 4 misplaced epidurals later he was born.
