Tonight I'm going to a surprise party for one of my really good friend's 30th birthday. Her husband organized the whole thing and hired a wine and cheese vendor to come. Can you tell I'm excited?!
I'm stuck at home STILL. C is still sick with a two bucket bug and E is teething. I was supposed to meet my bff for coffee this afternoon but had to bail. So yeah... that's my weekend.
We're having an ice storm right now, and DH is working. So we are home bound today. But there is always wine involved in every weekend, whether home or abroad.
Working at the moment, then going to a memorial service (a "celebration of life" really, it's casual and supposed to be more upbeat) for one of my mom's best friends who passed away last week, then straight from there to my nephew's fifth birthday party. Tomorrow, I sleep!!!
I was supposed to be at a birthday party for my close friend's DD but since we got in a fight (see Mommy friend break up post), DH and I are no longer driving 6 hours to be there. Kind of sad, but kind of happy I am stuck studying ALLLLL day instead (at least during naps) and then grocery shopping. Thinking about a wine and sushi picnic tonight with DH after DD goes to bed we are starting to TTC #2 so gotta get this stuff in while I still can
I feel like a jerk now for having fun plans, lol. I'm extra excited because it will just be me going (DH will be home to do bedtime) and I'll get to see 2 of my other good friends from college. One lives in NYC now so I only see her once or twice a year.
Dh works weekends. So our weekend was yesterday. We went to a kids free dinner andsshopping. So today was just the kids and me, so here's to hoping dd will nap so I can too.
After a big Walmart trip at 8:00 am we made mass amounts of food for the freezer. Since I'm going back to work soon we wanted to have a lot of meals ready to go! Shepherds pie, butter chicken, enchiladas, spaghetti sauce, baked ziti, AND sour cream casserole. I'm exhausted!

DH is going to take me and DS out for dinner though so that's nice at least!
The poor things!!
