Haircut?

Have any of your LO's had haircuts?
Nicky's hair is starting to get shaggy and I want to stop any kind of mullet in its tracks. I'm not very keen to go near his head with scissors, though. Or have DH do it, given my one-handedness. What have you ladies done?

I'm trying to wait a few more weeks closer to his one year birthday. But he's got so much hair it's a little ridiculous. Especially because it's usually all over the place

I'm with you! DS is getting a bit shaggy as well. DH offered to do it since he does his own, but I don't know about that one... :P

We took DS to get his first hair cut yesterday. We took him to the sports clips place DH goes. She did an over all scissor cut. It's not the best hair cut I've ever seen on a person, but considering DS kept whipping his head around to see what the lady was doing, while she cut his hair, it turned out pretty good. I didn't want to do it myself and I didn't trust DH to do it.

DS has some long, loose curly/shaggy hair and I have no intentions of cutting it yet. He got a bit of a mullet when he was tiny due to the hair breaking at the back of his head, but not at the bottom (it looked really, really weird) so I trimmed it a bit. Nothing since then, though. I love his hair!

He's had 4 I think. First one when be was 8 weeks. He'll be getting another soon

If E had more hair, if probably cut it. But it doesn't seem to grow.

C had her first hair cut around this time because shev had a six inch rat tail from rubbing most of her head bald.

We cut DS' hair 3 times. We usually sit him in his bumbo (which he is WAY too big for now) and one of us entertains him while the other does a quick cut/trim. This last time, DS was way more interested in watching DH cut his hair, so he kept spinning around to see what daddy was doing. It was the toughest (and most exhausting) haircut we had to do and it came out super uneven. We agreed that next time, we are taking him to a children's salon so that at least he will have a decent looking haircut.

DS' hair is actually longer in the front than the back. It's in his eyes. But I'm that weirdo that can't even make myself get his bangs cut. I've just been brushing it to the side. It's also growing over his ears a little. But I also tend to like the longer hair styles on boys, so that might also be contributing. I sort of want him to have the hair styles of Nicky and Alex on Full House lol.

DD's hair all fell out except some on the very top of her head when she was 4 months old. Her newborn hair was brown and her new hair is blonde. When it got longer she had brown tips on the top that looked terrible so I trimmed it to be the same length as her other hair. Now it's so long and shaggy looking, but I want her hair to grow so I won't cut it! Her hair is pretty wild most of the time
