Gavin Xavier .... We love it everyone else is not crazy about the middle name... I don' t care too much what they think our baby our name ... It's a good catholic saint's name and feeds my slight Xmen addiction!!
Jack, Brady, Carter...? Husband likes Deckland but I'm not sold yet. Owen? Every time I bring it up he changes the topic. So indecisive. But I would like to do something in the nursery with either his name or initials sooo hopefully soon.
Our son is being named Oliver Aaron. The only remaining conversation is whether to add Ambrose after Aaron (2 middle names). Aaron is after my brother who passed suddenly at age 26. Ambrose is after my fiances grandfather who passed last year.
Oliver is joining Sebastian Michael and Taber Rayne. (Seb is nine from previous, and Taber is fiances from previous). Had Oliver been a girl, she would have been Lillian Aerin Jade.
My H refuses to discuss this with me and it's annoying. I have suggested at least five names that I'd be ok with, but he vetoes them and doesn't provide alternatives. Truthfully, I just want to have a short list because we don't plan on naming her until after she's born.
I'm jealous of all of you that have picked names! I'm having a hard time with girl names. If it was a boy (which i was convinced I was having until our LO proudly displayed her girl parts at the AS) I was going to go with Wesley John. Girls I'm not so sure... Claire, Mabel, Lois (after gma) are some front runners but we can't decide.

@Sheriot -- did you have your a/s and also find out it's a girl!? I don't know if I missed your post, but either way, congratulations! Hope all went well.
My DH lost his best friend 5 years ago to a very long and hard battle with cancer. He was only 22 years old when he died. My DH now has a memorial tattoo with his friends initials and we felt it was only natural and completely obvious to name out coming son after him. Also, this year I lost one of my very best friends extremely tragically and unexpectedly and we chose his name for the middle name. Many people think it seems morbid and don't agree but both of these men were so influential and special to our lives that we just knew we had to honor their memory this way.
Samuel (nicknames Sam, Sammy, Schmooie, Schmoo-bear, etc)
After my daughter passed away, and before I got pregnant, I had a dream where I saw her and she introduced me to a baby who I was going to have who I wouldn't have had if she were still with us. His name was Sammy. So when my H and I found out we were having a boy, the first name was already decided.

We are Team Green. For a boy we are set on Michael Joseph. For a girl, we know the middle name will be Clare. First name will either be Rebecca or Kendall.
110% sure our little girl will be Lynnleigh Raven!
Lynnleigh is my mother's middle name (Lynn) and DH's mother's middle name (Leigh) combined. Raven was my grandfather's middle name. He passed away about a year and a half ago... DH and I were very close to him... He would be thrilled to know Lynnleigh was named after him
So far our top runner is Elliot Shay for our little girl! And our backup is Blair Evelyn. We aren't sharing until she is born bc we know our families will have opinions since it's a unisex name!
I'm so jealous of all of you who've settled on names. DH and I narrowed down the list together, but I just can't make a final decision. Our front runners are: Drew, Elliot, Matthew, Luke, and Benjamin. Middle name will be Roger after my Dad. DD's name is Emily Reese. I wish we could just pick one!
We have such similar taste in names! I have a Benjamin and a Lucas (who we call Luke), and the only reason that Matthew and Andrew (we would have called Drew) were off the list for this baby is that they have been used by good friends in the last two years.

We've got nothing. I like Carson, Kaleb, Korbin, but DH isnt on board. And I don't love them enough to push them. He definetly wants a K name (not sure why) as well as something different/unique and we both agree we'd ideally like it to have Scottish origin. Soo I feel like we limit ourselves a lot this way and it only makes it super hard.
@gertiebarden, Omg, I teared up reading that story. What a bittersweet way to choose a name. How touching that your daughter can be apart of such an important part of your son's life. I love the name Samuel, though.
I keep gravitating to Catherine/Katherine, Anne, or Sarah....which I think is funny since DS's name is Henry and Catherine and Anne make up the names of four of Henry the VIII's wives. Hmmm...
I would have loved to name her after DH's grandma who passed away in September, her first name was Willa. But we decided against it for 2 reasons, she hated the name and went by her middle name, and our last name begins with W and it sounded very Willy Wonka-ish.
Hayley Johanna-Rose; Johanna is for my grandfather, John who is currently battling two/three forms of cancer (and also for DH's grandfather who passed away several years ago), and Rose is for my mother, they were her favorite flower and my niece has her name as her middle name and I didn't feel right using it.
Help!! Our sons name is Wyatt Remington and our name for this one was Smith Alexander but a friend just named her baby smith?! What the heck!!! We like Everett, Rowan, and Nixon--- any other suggestions for Wyatt's baby brother?
Beckett?
Everett and Nixon are on our list! Good names, good names.
We're naming our little girl Neenah Opal. Opal was my grandma's name who passed away when I was 3mos old and one of the meanings for Neenah is great-granddaughter. My so isn't quite liking the spelling of Neenah so that could still change before she's born. She's due to be here May 19th.
