Have you been to the Baby Names board? I think those ladies are living on a different planet!

I do watch biggest loser, but that doesn't show any gruesome surgeries or anything, the people are making a positive change, and they aren't so depressing to me. I don't like any real life shows that just show how f-ed up people are, whether they are addiction related, prison related, etc. there is enough of that in my extended family, I don't need to watch other people going through it.
I get anxious just walking into hospitals, I honestly think nurses are saints, because there is no way in hell I could handle that line of work.
My confession is that PETA has been bothering the ever loving piss out of me lately.
I love me some animals, I grew up with cats and dogs, and I--as a college graduate--cried to my mommy when my hamster had a growth on his paw and looked like he was in so much pain (I even took him to the vet)
Those Sarah McLachlan commercials get me every time.
But where would we be in this world without the incredible benefits we have gained from certain animal testing? Vaccines? Chemotherapy? Hell, even prosthetic limbs? We even understand basic attachment between babies and their mothers because of Harlow's rhesus monkeys.
So maybe don't wash that cute little bunny's fur with toxic waste, or torture monkeys for fun. But when organizations like PETA come in, undermine a researcher's good intentions, and sue them without a firm basis, they are taking time, energy, and money away from things that could greatly benefit society.
**That's not to say that NOBODY should be standing up for animals, of course they need advocates, too. But it seems like every story I hear about PETA involves lots of finger pointing, suing, and shaming even when there aren't any grounds for such things.
Yes and it's yummy!
You sound like a spoiled brat who isn't getting all the attention she wants.

Not sure if real confession or AE trying give us a little fun...
Yeeeeah, this isn't even good MUD. This is just being an asshole. OP sucks.X(
ETA quotes are all jacked
Team Purple!!!!
Ummm no. She would never say anything so disgusting and offensive. There is a huge different between saying it would be fun to stir some shit and writing something like @ladyabagail. Maybe if it was a post about feeling the baby move already, or I don't know, something more ridiculous with a little bit of humor. But that? No.
Edited, because my brain and technology don't mix
Was there like, a golden light shining down on you and holy trumpets sounding off when you conceived too? Wow, must be super special.
My science babies were nothing like that...I am totes jealous of you being able to have a love baby while lying on your back doing absolutely nothing while my husband and I just dished out most of our life savings to do it the science way. So much easier than all that love nonsense.
And if this was MUD or an AE, what a terrible way to go about starting 'some drama'. Why not choose something people can control, like my UO...no one cared about my confession about planning to eat a hotdog at the playoff game this Sunday, a soda sounds good too. See? That's something to start drama over...not this hurtful BS.
