My previous doctor's office, before I moved overseas, took a sample at each visit. Here they only took one at my very first visit. I actually asked about it at yesterday's appointment and was told that it was unnecessary. In my opinion I was receiving MUCH better care at the first office.
@AKPuffin - Can I ask if you're being treated by a military hospital or by a German one? I had DD in Germany at a German hospital and they were very thorough. Just curious...
I did at every appt when I was pregnant with DD1. This time around I did at the first appt and then was told I wouldn't need to any more... Same clinic, same midwives. I thought it was weird!
@teaforthree I'm being seen at the military hospital. The doctors have all been great, but I was being seen at a civilian doctor before we moved and I really miss having the same nurse at every visit. The tech that handled my intake on Wednesday was super unprofessional and clueless. I have GD, which she knew, and she offered me a piece of candy. I had to do an internal eye roll and face palm.
