Hugs, hugs, and more hugs (but no sweet hugs. Just nonchalant ones). I go in for mine at the end of the month. Let's see if we will be miserable together. :-/
Thanks all! I had a celebratory bowl of potato soup, one last hurrah. It's really not that bad and I've already been following the diet (minus tonight), but testing sucks. It could be worse though.
I am sorry, that sucks. But I have to say reading your post title and looking at the pics you added made me laugh pretty hard. Good to have a good attitude about it all!
Is there a chance to retake it, or get to a point where they might take you off of daily testing?
This. My numbers were so awesome last pregnancy that my doctor let me go down to random checking near the end. I was always diet/exercise controlled throughout. I've been testing randomly throughout this entire pregnancy and everything has been great, but that isn't different from the last one so I wouldn't be surprised if I get the "official" diagnosis too. I go for my 1 hour at my next appointment in a couple weeks. I was totally devastated (like .. ugly cried during my planning period ... called my husband sobbing) with the DX last time. This time, I'm like ... eh, if it happens, it happens. Nothing I can do about it.
Sucks. Although i passed my 19w, I'd be surprised if I wasn't joining you in a few weeks. Then we can all complain about being sick of cheese and eggs together.
At least you're an expert and hopefully aren't having all those terrible first timer freak outs. :-)
