For me, I will try to enjoy being pregnant more, knowing that this is probably my last pregnancy since we are only having two. Also if my back flares up I won't wait as long to go in and get seen for it like I did last time. I will also like to exercise more and not drink so many sugary drinks.
I will still try for a natural birth like last time - it's sounds crazy but it was actually awesome!
Re: 2nd timers and up - what will you do differently this pregnancy? Or the same?
First tri I'm still following ALL the food rules because I am a spaz, but I'll probably let up further down the line.
I will definitely enjoy my bump more! I didn't show for a long time last time and I missed my bump PP.
Will do much the same, however, I will try to not worry so much this time around.
Going to try my best to exercise a little to try to keep pre-e at bay and GD in check (Yes--I'm just assuming I'll have this again).
Going to try to be better at keeping a journal of pregnancy this time. Need to relish every little detail since this will likely be our last.

Yoga I want to start yoga. I need to do something.

I don't know if this will be our last, but I will savor all the kicks and the stretchy pants haha.
I plan to continue exercising which is something I didn't do with my previous pregnancies. I'm looking forward to how that's going to help me recover after this one.
I am also actively working to not let myself get freaked out about labour. My last little guy came so fast that we almost didn't make it to the hospital and when I think about it it still makes me anxious. I've already spoken to my dr. and we have a game plan so that will help. On a side note...they actually have in my chart "rapid birth" like a label. It makes me chuckle.
Freak out over every little thing

I apparently was in labor on a Friday afternoon and complaining about gas pains and back pain. This was the same week I said I would slow down. By 4 am, my water broke and 8 hours later I delivered 10 weeks early.
I really don't want that for my family again. We got lucky that these two are healthy.

I hope to not gain as much weight (42 lbs last time and it was a bitch to get it off).
I'm going to let go of the "Business of Being Born" type of lessons (as lovely as they are) because this time around, the only thing that matters is my baby's health. I went to 42 weeks with DS because I didn't want to get induced and believed that my body and baby would know when it was time. DS was born with severe meconium aspiration and ended up fighting for his life in the NICU of the biggest children's hospital in the region for 2 weeks. It was awful. Thankfully he is ok, but seeing your baby ventilated and hooked up to a hundred machines, doped up on morphine, not being able to hold him until he's 6 days old, coming home to an empty nursery every night.... not worth it. If I can get induced at 37 weeks, sign me up. Bring on the Pitocin.

Same: Enjoy feeling good while it lasts. Enjoy my sleep and free time while I have it. Try not to gain too much weight (last time I gained 26 pounds, I'd like to keep it under 30 again if possible).

So impressed that you went natural. I totally used to think I was a bad ass, but 2 hours into contractions and I was crying like a little girl. If I could get the epidural a few weeks early this time I'd sign right up!

Different: chill the eff out. So far it's been quite easy to almost forget I'm pregnant, which is totally cool and will hopefully let the time pass much much quicker.
