Wear something comfortable....your pregnant, people don't expect you to look like miss america...dress up or don't, whatever makes you feel the most comfortable.
As far as when, no one has offered to throw me one or asked me any questions about registry or who would be invited, so I don't think I am getting one. Thanks for reminding me.
Sorry you are feeling down - but no need to take it out on the rest of us.
Mine is Feb 1st at 30 weeks. I'll be wearing whatever I have that is most comfortable and makes me look the most pregnant lol. I registered at Amazon and BRU

Lets stay in sweat pants, eat ice cream and complain about our crappy friends together!
I had an early one on November 23rd because I travelled to visit family and friends. I got a nice dress from Kohl's that was both comfortable and nice looking. In my social circle I would never feel comfortable wearing sweat pants.
I'm not having a shower (2nd baby) but I wore this dress to my shower for DD, and it is so flattering (and is still in awesome shape this time around).
My shower will most likely be mid-March (due April 29), so I will be 33 weeks along. It happens to be when my BFF and MIL will both be in town.
Don't get defeated already @toothpastechica ! My family procrastinates on everything, so they probably won't send out invites/finalize a date until the end of Feb.
I'm registered at BBB, and will most likely wear this dress (if it still fits then!):
I'm having my shower on Jan 19 so I'll be 28 weeks but it's MLK weekend so more people could come in from out of town. We live in Denver so I'll be wearing a fitted long sleeve shirt and skinny jeans with boots. Comfy and warm. Also I'm terrified of falling down so I like to wear my cute winter boots that have some traction
Mine is March 1st (even though I don't know for sure but that's a date I suggested since I was asked when I want it) I will wear a dress since that's what I normally wear every other day for work! Everyone's picks are so cute... I will probably decide in February!

Mine is mid Feb since that's the only four day weekend we have to travel back home. I plan to buy a simple long sleeve dress to wear with flats. It's in FL so it will most likely be warm enough for me to wear it comfortably. That or a maxi skirt, tank top and jean jacket. That cute but not completely dressed up.
My sisters are throwing me a shower the last weekend in February. Right now I am consumed with figuring out the baby registry though and haven't thought at all about what I might wear. I figure, I have tons of time, right?
My work one was in December... I wore work clothes.
My family/friends one is January 18th and... I had no idea people bought dresses to wear at their showers. My circle is pretty casual though - it's a coed shower *gasp* and so I think the fancy dresses and weird games will be at a minimum. I'll wear a tunic and leggings.
I have one that is being thrown by a friend for friends/coworkers Jan 26th and then one back home with family/friends Feb 23rd. Still figuring out what to wear, but most likely casual for the first one and a dress for the second.
Mine with family and close friends is February 9th (I'll be 32 weeks). Thinking about this outfit... Not sure yet though. My church shower will be the first weekend in March. I'll probably wear the same thing. Hopefully something I can wear in my maternity pictures too. I'm all about maximizing usage of an outfit!
I have showers the next 3 Saturdays (family, work, church). Where I live, everyone goes pretty casual. I would feel overdressed in most dresses. I just want to wear pink since I'm having girls, but otherwise probably jeans or leggings. Nothing fancy.
The shower for my family is Feb 8. DH's family hasn't offered to throw one, which is kind of upsetting. On a lighter note, I'm wearing this dress from Old Navy and cardigan from the Loft

My first shower thrown by my family and friends is January 18th. I don't know when my second shower is. It's supposed to be thrown by DH family but they only mentioned they would throw me one in passing so not sure how concrete their plans are. I am loving this super comfy striped fitted shirt that I purchased last weekend and I hope to wear it with jeans and heels or boots. I never wear a dress and I want to be comfortable so that is my excuse!
My first shower is also Jan 18! It's in South Florida and there will be a pool so if the weather permits (it finally dipped below 60 today so we'll see what happens) I will throw on a bikini and get in the water. I don't usually wear heels but there will be plenty of sitting so I may go for dark jeans, heels and a fitted top like you said.
My second shower is Feb 22 in middle Georgia with my in laws, they are much more casual than my family in SoFla so I'll probably wear a something comfortable.
