  We had ours yesterday at nine weeks. Everything looks great! Info in two weeks for early GD testing and then back to the OB two weeks after that for my normal on visit where they'll listen with the doppler for the first time. We saw the heartbeat yesterday (strong 175+bpm) but they didn't switch on the audio for us.

  Our little jelly bean! Taken on 12/20 @ 6w5d- heart beat was at 130. I'm 9w2d now with another appointment next week! Hoping for another u/s @ that time...:)

  I'm super jealous and kinda confused. Mine looks nothing like everyone else's! LMP says 8 weeks but I'm measuring 7 so we'll go with 7. Mine just looks like 2 blobs. And this was after the 1st crappy picture when I saw the specialist! Is my pic normal?!

  Ladies! These actually look like babies! So exciting! My first u/s at 7w showed a gummy bear like figure. I'm hoping at my u/s tomorrow (9.5w) I have a baby with more noticeable features. Congrats!

  yes!  Normal!  Mine looked like an odd shaped blob at 7w3d and come 9w4d I could tell it was a baby.  It's early... it will change trust me!
  
  
  
  Thank you!!! Here I was excited about my pic and then I saw all the others and started to get worried! Next appt is in 2 weeks. Hopefully it will be a little clearer.
  
  I love seeing everyone's pictures. We should make it a monthly thing to show off your pic so we can track everyone's progress!

  Your u/s is pretty much how mine looked today at close to 7 weeks. I think the arms and legs develop during the 7th week and you can maybe see them at 8-9 weeks. Do you get a follow-up soon?
  
  
  Follow up with my OB is in 2 weeks. Not really soon but maybe that's better because I will see progress? I feel like a FTM and so paranoid. With my first we had 1 ultra sound when I was probably maybe a month preggo. He looked like a speck on the screen. And then we didn't have another until I was 4 months pregnant!! One of the reasons we decided to switch OBs. So these early pictures are so foreign to me. I'm questioning everything.

  Jealous of all of these pictures!!! I go on 1/20 and I'm counting down the days!! It's been such a long wait (or it seems that way) but it will hopefully be worth it!! I'm glad so many of you are getting to see your LO's so early!!

  mine is measuring 8 weeks also, very Blob-like the US tech called it a blueberry

  This is my first u/s at 7w2d a couple of weeks ago.  Heartbeat was 147. We got to hear the heartbeat again last week a 9w2d and it was 177! We are supposed to have another u/s at around 12 weeks Jan 22- we can't wait to see more baby-like features!!

  We went through fertility treatments... Which means the fertility specialist has their own protocol as to how much they monitor. I feel like I wouldn't have had one so early, or the frequency if things had happened naturally.

  My old OB never gave Ultra sounds. I was a FTM so I was always paranoid but thought it was normal so didn't switch. I just suffered a mc in Sept and was not about to go 9 months with 1 ultra sound. So I switched OBs. All though this OB has her pros and cons, I am glad I get to see my baby as often as I want. Gives me piece of mind. Maybe consider switching? Or asking for more ultrasounds? I love seeing my baby as much as possible

  rsfan23 fertility treatments here too... 2 ultrasounds to "graduate" Better than any other graduation I've been through!!!

  Here is our little bean at 7w3d with the yolk sac showing. The heartbeat was 141. They even gave us a DVD of the u/s with the sound of the heartbeat! I love love love it. My previous OB did not give DVDs. We go back in 4 weeks for the genetic testing.

  Here is my lil bean at 8wks 6 days with a heart beat 168 beats per min. We didn't get to hear it because she said it's too much for the baby but that it will be done in 2 more wks when I'm 12 wks along. It as a beautiful and amazing feeling to see this! Congrats to all you ladies!

  My OB gives an ultrasound every visit before 12 weeks and after that I'm not sure how far a part they will be. I had one at 6 weeks 1 day and going back tomorrow at 9 weeks 1 day. I will post pics of both tomorrow.

  This is probably a stupid question but why doesn't the yolk sac show in everyone's ultrasounds? Just the angle? My yolk sac and my baby in my ultrasound look exactly the same, size/shape wise. We did see the heartbeat and arms and leg buds but it just seemed strange to me. With my first I never saw a yolk sac!! And most peoples pix on here don't depict one. Just curious.

  *Miraculous BFP July 2014!! (I was taking baby aspirin and Cabergoline to stay regulated while "taking a break from TTC" and waiting to consult with a reproductive immunologist!!!) 

  
  

  Our healthy baby girl was born 03/10/15 thanks to daily Lovenox injections and baby aspirin. There are no words for how grateful I am for our rainbow baby.

  It's the angle that the picture is taken, I think. And it does go away, so maybe some of those U/S pictures are just after it's been absorbed.
