Finally the holiday craziness and first birthday craziness is over and everything is back to "normal". That is if normal means meds, u/s's, blood work etc......
While we were on our "holiday" break, I called the RE's office to make sure IUI wasn't a waste of our time. Doc says no, so I waited and waited and frickin waited for AF to start so I could start another medicated IUI cycle. Damn!!! it was a 49 day cycle and had to be jump started with provera. Then I find out that even though the doc said it wasn't a waste of time he wanted me to do injectables instead of femara. Ok I am thinking, our insurance has decent coverage and our part is 50% (ps that is only for iui procedures. For IVF we are OOP). There is a mix up with the insurance so I am not able to get meds in time, so the RE's nurse calls and says I have samples for you until we can get it sorted out. (I told MH this is why we donated our unused meds after our IVF for this reason)
Ugh, the insurance calls today. Our copay for the meds are $750!!! I said "I'm sorry can you repeat that first number?" So we will not do any more IUI's after this one and go straight to a FET next cycle (hoping to get pg instead).
It makes me so nervous to use the rest of our embryos. We have 3 frozen, and the RE said we will unthaw them all!!
