I did have those usernames, raw1299 and rpalen that I created about 1.5 years ago, right when I got pregnant. I started on the may board, because that's when I was due. Shortly after I had C I started an online business, and mentioned it on their board, and they flipped on me. I apologized and admitted it was a mistake. I left TB for a few months to focus on C and everything else going on. I came back around late November, and they've been bullying me ever since because of it. I decided to flip on them, I said some choice words and told them I was done with their board.

From what I understand lurking over there, she told them to all go have an orgy because they were all "ganging" up on her. They were.calling her out on everything so she got really defensive.

Feel free to let her play but watch out for the next business pitch. Rpalen- maybe you should spend your efforts doing real marketing rather than creating numerous names and trying to sell your memberships.

Yeah, the siggy in her old username said her baby was born 5/29. The fact that she had a May baby and posts here by itself wouldn't bother me. I sometimes post on the May and July boards because my LO was originally due at the very end of June but came at the very beginning of June, so at different points pre- and post- pregnancy, I related to people on those boards too. What DOES bother me is that she purposefully lied about when her baby was born. That's so sketchy.

A lot of times I don't feel call outs are appropriate. In this case, though, I feel the call out was totally appropriate. I am not participating in the Valentine's exchange because I don't want to give my address out, but if I were, this would make me nervous. If she is lying about this stuff, who knows what else she could be lying about.

You are characterizing a whole board as being rude and bullies. Maybe one or two of them might have crossed a line at some point (too many threads to read them all and know for certain), but that doesn't mean that the whole board is like that.

Well the truth is anyone could be lying about anything and everything. I totally get not wanting her in the exchange, but that totally could have been accomplished without a call out, and she voluntarily offered to remove herself, so... meh.

That is totally true (see bolded), but I try to give people the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. In this case, it was proven otherwise. Normally, I hate when people gang up on others, but dishonesty just really gets to me for some reason. Anyway, it is what it is, so I am going to try to stop commenting on this thread so I don't add to the drama any more than I already have!

FTR, I'm team "poor judgement/fresh start." Once you've done something dumb and gotten yourself wrapped up in drama, it can be hard/nearly impossible to move on using the same screen name and changing your name but putting your old BS out there anyway is like wearing a disguise that's a mask of your actual self, kwim? lol

I'm not saying there is or isn't anything shady and I think for the time being it makes sense to remove her from the exchange but I don't think the mere act of trying to distance yourself from shit you wish never happened means she's definitely a bad person.
