A (GOBLET SIZE) glass of wine a couple times of week and usually a girls night once a week. God, I probably should've checked "a little something everyday" instead of "a couple times a week." Oh well, cheers! I'm down a bottle after being cooped up for two days and still no work tomorrow!
Part of my New Year's resolution is to cut way the hell down on wine. I had a back injury a little over a year ago, and the docs cut me off of pain killers after 6 months. I was in so much pain that I just drank every night to numb it.
My back is improving, so now I'm kicking the habit. I'm down to just a 6 oz glass a night, and planning on being dry by Wed. Very proud of myself.
I voted a couple of times a week, but it's usually more than a couple of times a week, but not every day. Wine is definitely a line-item in our household budget.
**siggy warning** **everyone welcome**

I pretty much drink every day I'm not working, and since I work 3-4 (12) hour shifts a week which can at times leave me with a lot of drinking days. I usually polish off 3/4 a bottle of wine but if it's a weekend prob a bottle and a few beers. I'm kind of a big drinker. And a big deal. Jk jk.
I wish I drank everyday!!! That's my goal but I have a hard time life gets in the way.
I answered a couple times a week but it all depends. Some weeks I drink, some I don't drink at all. I've gone a month without a drop and for instance last week on vacation I drank while I was awake.
A couple times a week. I typically drink Friday and Saturday evenings. I just have one drink at home- usually a vodka or rum mixed with fruit juices. Every so often I add in one middle of the week drink, but that's not very common.

I can't remember the last time we were drunk. That doesn't interest either of us.
Same I haven't actually been all out drunk since I was 21 or 22, maybe. I'm 34 now. But I do love me some drinking! I just always stop at one. I don't like the feeling of being drunk, and I don't really drink for that reason. I like the taste, and love how it just relaxes me.

We drink every day. But, we're not college kids about it. I have a glass of wine. My husband has a glass of bourbon. We just sit on the couch together, watch TV and relax.

Totally same, except his was a single malt. I would say realistically I drink 6 nights a week, glass of wine, sometimes a craft beer. Occasionally I'll make tea instead but, meh. We like to sit and sip. DH just got put on meds and was basically told "you can drink but don't get drunk" so we rarely have more than 2. NYE we didn't even have champs. (That was sad.)

Congrats to you. That certainly is something to be proud of.
Thank you .
I'm also phasing out caffeine, aspartame, and going on a diet in preparation for TTC. I'm getting all sorts of healthy hippy up in here
I am trying to cut back... It used to be a little something every day or two, but I'm trying to get my insomnia under control in order to start temping correctly, and think cutting the booze might help.
I miss my wine! And brandy & chai. And vodka. Shit. Now I want a drink & it's only 7:30 in the morning.
I said once or twice a month because I breastfeeding and we live in a dry county so more than that is just a pita. We've started to give bottles at night and were moving back to my hometown(it's so wet you could swim!) in a few months so I'm pretty sure my drinking will pick up some. I've only drank twice in the last year between pregnacy and breastfeeding.
We drink during hockey games, and then usually on the weekends. Usually beer, occasionally wine. I would say probably 3-4 times per week....sometimes more or less depending on work and hockey schedules

DH and I open a bottle of wine nearly every night (maybe once or twice a month without, honestly). Most of the time we finish it between the two of us, but sometimes it lasts two nights. Going a week without a sip last month's TWW was probably the longest I've gone in a year or two.
Like some pp's said, we aren't drinking to get drunk at all... Just having a couple of glasses each throughout the evening. Usually starts with dinner and then goes through watching tv. I honestly might lose weight if I get KU just by cutting out those 400 cals a day!
Considering I've finished a bottle of wine from the bottle with the straw on one occasion, I'm going to add myself to the a couple of times a week group.
This could be a UO or FFFC but the closest Ive ever come to beer was when we did roadside cleanup growing up with our youth group. I picked up a full can of beer that must have had a hole in it. It smelled SO bad. Ive never seen the appeal in it and never had a desire to try anything. I grew up very conservative and so I was never around those who did.

I think a lot of people who don't like beer (not you necessarily) feel that way because they've only ever had shit beer. If all you've ever drank is piss water like Bud Light or PBR, then yeah, I totally understand not liking beer. I think a lot more people would like beer if they tasted a really good craft beer. They are so delicious and flavorful.
--end beer snob rant--
Yes. Definitely. Branch out and try a good dark beer.
Woof, or anything that hasn't been ripening on the side of a highway for 4 months?? A nice hefeweizen can be a good place to start.
