I am currently living in the Dayton area, and this is my first pregnancy. Just wanted to see if any of the Junebugs are located in the Buckeye State? If you feel comfortable sharing, what area do you live in and what brings you to Ohio? What number baby are you cooking?

All of you Canton/Akron mommies, I am expecting my first bundle of joy and am new to the area. Was wondering what your thoughts are on the obgyn offices around? The only 2 I'm familiar with is Stark Womens, and Atrium. Any opinions or thoughts? I would really appreciate any feedback!

WHOA! Like @talon 1226, @BrendaW09, and @kaceymarie, I'm in Columbus. I work at OSU and live in German Village. We've been here almost five years; I'm originally from southern Kentucky.

I was actually just in Cincy for the first time on Saturday with a friend. Went to the big market downtown for andouille, the restaurant in the old monk pottery (I can't remember any names), and of course Ikea.

O-H! Love this post. Born and raised just south of Cleveland near Akron. I took a 6 year hiatus and lived in DC after college and moved back almost 4 years ago because I missed my family and for graduate school. I actually now live in the house I grew up in.

I work on the West side so I picked an OB close to work (and she is two of my sisters's OB). She's a straight shooter, totally my style, so it's a good fit.

Dayton here too! I actually just moved back this summer to Oakwood after living in Cincinnati. I grew up in Centerville.

Speaking of prenatal yoga, I plan to finally start the class at Inner Dance Yoga this week.

Ohio love!! I live in the Chillicothe area currently but was raised and much of my family is in the Springboro area! This will be the first grandchild for my parents so we expect a lot of visitors come mid June

@robbinrl I moved to Beavercreek over the summer from Cinci too! Actually, I moved from West Chester because H worked in Dayton and I worked in Cinci, so we were splitting the commute. I grew up in Anderson though. Are you experienced with yoga? I need to get some exercise in as I haven't been doing much and have considered going to a few classes. Is Inner Dance Yoga good?

@lcgroenewe We were in the same situation. I work in Blue Ash and H works in Dayton. I did yoga a lot in college (at UC and yoga garage in Clifton) and did prenatal with my last pregnancy - which I loved, but I wouldn't say I'm experienced. I haven't been to inner dance yet but ppl have recommended it. I'll let you know if I make it tomorrow.

@nelleebelle I go to Women's Health Specialists and Midwives of Dayton (Dr. Guy's office). I switched to them during my last pregnancy (around 24 ish weeks) because I wanted to give birth at family beginnings at MVH and my dr didn't practice there. I love them. I have had great experiences with the midwives and OBs. Unless you are high risk you mainly see the midwives which I like, but the whole practice is very supportive of natural birth if you are looking for that. Dr. Guy is actually the medical director for family beginnings.

@robbinrl @nelleebelle When I found out about the pregnancy I defaulted to the OBGYN I went to in college. The practice is called Dayton OBGYN and they are a part of Premier Health Specialists which is a Premier subsidiary. They have an office in the women's center at MVH and also in Centerville, and you can deliver either at MVH or MVH South. I was going to ask my doctor if being a part of the Family Beginnings program was an option while also staying with my doctor, so we'll see what they say. Not sure how insurance works out with Family Beginnings, whats covered, and what isn't.
