  I had brown discharge between 5-7 weeks and I'm now 9 weeks and have finally stopped having brown discharge.  I think it's just your body flushing out all the old stuff.  From what I've read on blogs as well as from other women, it's very normal.  As long as there's no cramping and bright red blood, you're fine.  My doctor just said to monitor and jot down my observations.  Stay positive!  Good luck!
