I've only been back a little while, but I haven't seen her pop up anywhere. Did she GBCB or is she just busy with her two little girls? Anybody know?

She came back briefly awhile ago when we had a board fight. She said she is busy, but apparently also didn't like the judgmental, sancti-mommy vibes that some posters were supposedly giving out (that's what the fight was about). I haven't seen her since.

I always liked ColtonsMommy (or whatever her user name was), too, but I remember she left the Feb 13 board after one of the BF vs. FF stupidasspointlesswhydoweeven arguments on a FFFC thread. *sigh*

It was epic. Mbush4 went the way of Milli Vanilli, too. Not sure if you remember her, or how much she posted while you were active. I don't remember GBCB'ing, but I defended Fisher Price and Playskool to the death. Even though I think it should be outlawed that any toys marketed to children can have blatant spelling mistakes in them. Skool??? Really???

Its really embarrassing that it was a thread I started and I dropped out halfway through - mostly bc I don't have the internet at my apartment except DH's iPhone, but partly because I can't keep up. I'm a total lightweight.

But I am glad it happened. It seemed like Feb '13 was a pressure cooker and the lid blew off on that thread. It was kind cool.

Me too. That's when I left and changed my user name. I put in a request to The Bump for them to change my user name because it was my full name, and they didn't change it. So when all of that foolery went down I closed my account and opened a new one. It was a lot faster of a process.

But I will agree that I miss @TeacherClark. I liked her. I liked MBush, too. I just like everybody.

Meh, I've sort of realized this isn't my place to have deep conversations about child-rearing practices and life. It may be beneficial for some, but not for me. I have pretty extreme left views that I can get somewhat heated about, and I don't really like to go there on the internet. So much can be misunderstood and tone can be lost or confusing in internet posts.

Oh, a floo ride direct to someplace warm and sunny, so tempting! I love winter. I love snow. I do not love -50 degrees outside. It's so cold!!!!! I would absolutely love a day away from that.

I was disappointed that so many people got so upset over differing lifestyles and views. I had to stop reading that thread because I was so mad/frustrated that people kept piling on everyone in all directions. It was sad to see so many people leave, though.

But I love that others have "come out of their shell" so to speak. If you can't be your TRUE self in an anonymous online forum, then where the heck CAN you be yourself?
