While a lot of us are FTMs and therefore going through these experiences for the first time I think if someone is going to put their fist up in my lady bits and rip open my cervix I better know what they are doing....in detail.
Pretty sure if he "manually stretched" you from nothing to 2 cm you would have felt that shit. Yes, OP, you need to be at least a little bit dilated for a membrane sweep. Also, not your best move to use ftm status as an excuse to be ignorant. Learn to ask questions because none of us will be there to hold your hand during labor.
Wow. Im a ftm like most of you people. And for people to write mean comments is not needed. I am just asking if anyone has been thru this and comments like this is not needed at all
Thanks ladies.
I AGRRE. negative comments are not necessary
You are just so cute, @aceboom. Please, enlighten and entertain us with your profound contributions.

Well thank you soooo much for your contribution! Also, it's spelled agree.
@ccip82 Did I miss the thread about discussions vs replies? I have heard that several times and can't find what was said about it!
@Ljessen13 -- it's actually something that I wrote in a UO or FFFC thread a few months ago, and then I think that it was @ccip82 (maybe?) who brought it up again more recently, maybe a month ago. If the ratio of discussions that the poster has started to the number of replies to other discussions is like 3:1 (replies:discussion) or higher, the poster isn't really interested in being part of the community. It's more like she uses this BMB as a blog or her own personal Google.
This particular poster has more discussions than replies, so she's even worse than the ratio I mentioned.
@mrsjenni, no, you are the opposite -- you reply way more than you start discussions. That's how I am too. I probably didn't describe it the best, my brain is kind of fried lately.

@jennoak, all jokes aside, can you please explain to us what you mean by your OB "opened your cervix"? What exactly was the process?
I had no idea there was math involved! :-S
