It looks like I may being joining society and finally getting a smartphone! I held out for so long!!! Haha. So which phone would you get of these choices or recommend something else below. (working with Verizon here) And FYI this phone will be mainly used to take and send/share photos of my squish so the camera is the most important feature to me.

I don't mind spending a little as long as it is worth it, but don't want to spend over $100.

I have the G2 and love it. Can even gif from mobile, lol. My husband has the lumia 928 and it takes great pictures.

I am cheap so normally I would vote for the free iPhone. But I had to get the iPhone 5 recently after my 4 broke. And the difference in the camera is totally worth the price. Especially since I know you like photography and are about to have a baby!

I had 2 different HTC's and ended up hating both after about 6 months. Personally, I'd never go back to them. I've had the iPhone 5 for just over a year and absolutely love it so my vote was whatever was closest to that (I voted 5C but also wouldn't hate having a 4S. H has that for work and he gets by juuuust fine!

I seem to have a lot of friends with S4's and they are all also very happy. If I ever got a DROID again I'd prbly get whatever number Samsung Galaxy was out. I am just so so so happy with my iPhone though. After 2 years of DROID issues, it was just what I needed.

Another iPhone lover here. I have the 4s. I've had it for about 2 years now and I've had no problems with it. My DH on the other hand, has a Samsung Galaxy (2 I believe) and he has had a bunch of problems. My brother and his girlfriend both have a version of the Galaxy and love them though - so I don't know if DH's version is crappy or he got a lemon or what. But I love my iPhone and since I use a mac laptop and iPod for music, having an Apple device just made sense for me.

I was the same for many years...did not want a phone with internet haha. I finally gave in last year to an iPhone 4...it blew my mind. I'm still easily able to disconnect from it, so I'm happy not to be those phone addicted people. This past week I upgraded to the iphone5 and wow. I love it, so worth it! The quality and picture is amazingly. I definitely recommend.

I have an iPhone 4s and while I like it, I want to go to the Galaxy next. It just seems to have a lot more capabilities.

I do like the predictability of the iPhone though.

Make sure you get a phone with enough data storage on it! (I'm dealing with a shortage now between my photos and games, which is why I mention it) You will need a lot for baby photos and videos

I'd just buy the 5s, but that's just me. It's pretty pointless to buy a 4s now (are they still selling them??) b/c Apple phases out their products pretty quickly with all the software updates and it will be a huge headache soon b/c the phone wasn't built to handle it. And if you're going to spend money on the 5c, then why not just buy the 5s? Maybe it's twice as much, but at least you'll be "up to date" with the software that's out and you'll probably get even more use out of your phone in the long run b/c the 5s was built to outlast the 5c (c=cheap.) Also, the 5s would last a HELL of a lot longer than getting the 4s for free now, so you'll save money in the long run if you plan to keep your phone for awhile. Andplusalso? Save a TON of frustration.)
