Even for a BTDT 3 rd time mom. My poor 6 year old has a fever and is vomiting. My 4 year old didn't want to go to preschool if his brother was staying home. I had to get my sister and her hyperactive toddler to the airport after a rather long 6 day visit (love them but she never stops talking and he's in a typical screaming and toy throwing stage. Not exactly a calming force those two). And my baby is going through the 3 week growth spurt, nursing constantly and giving himself gas from all the sucking.
After getting the 4 year old to school and getting my husband go in late so he could take sis to airport, I tried to take a shower. Baby quickly started fussing and ds1 started puking again. Took car of everyone as best I could, then went upstairs to get dressed. In the 3 minutes I was upstairs, the baby started fussing so my well meaning but very ill 6 year old picked up the baby's BINKY and put it back in his mouth with his super germy hands. Ugh.
Re: Ok this is hard
My little guy just went through his 3 week growth spurt and it nearly killed me..lol. I can't imagin going through that plus everything that you are going through!!
Hang in there! It sounds like you are one kick ass momma:)
That's a good idea, I've never taken emergen-c or airborne, maybe I'll get DH to pick some up
Until sickness hit, life with 3 has been pretty smooth sailing. Nothing compared to the challenge of 2 under 2. My older boys are pretty self sufficient and they understand the baby's needs come first. But a sick 6 year old needs his mom! It's just hard keeping them apart.
