I use the term schedule loosely because Iknow I can't impose a strict one on a 5.5 week old...but.... I am going back to work next Monday and we need to have SOMETHING in place in order to make that happen. DH and I are trying to do something close to feedings every four hours at 6, 10 and 2 (obviously both AM and PM). She will take what amounts to about 4.5 oz in a feeding (4oz of water mixed with powdered formula). Sometimes she takes it like a champ and other times she needs to be coaxed. I am assuming this is because we are switching from on demand. The issue is the bedtime feeding. It would be wonderful to have it earlier si everyone is putting in more night sleep but I can't figure out a good solution. ..either changing timing or amounts. I know it is just that I can't think correctly so I thought I would ask for opinions on the schedule in general and how to adjust it. In between day feeds we play and she naps

Sorry for the long mobile post that may have typos!
Re: FF "Schedule"?
With that said our schedule is like this- (we are FF too)
6:00 am 4 oz
9:00 am 3 oz
1130-1230 (depending on his nap) 4 oz
3 pm 3 oz
6 pm 3 oz
7:30 pm 3 oz
8:30- 9:30 2 oz usually just a top off before bed
then we have one MOTN feeding at sometime between 2 and 3 which is 4 oz.
6am 4oz
10am 4oz
2pm 4oz
6pm 3 oz
8pm 3 oz
MOTN feeding of 4oz
Hopefully by loosely starting with thia structure we can get aomething started. Like I said, with her being erratic with feeding times and amounts we are kind of starting with what is ideal for us and seeing what adjustments Mia wants/needs us to make.
