What do you set your humidifier on?

We have a Crane humidifier for the nursery and just pulled it out of the box for use. It says not to put it on wood floors or carpet or on top of a towel. We don't have room on the dresser, so I'm at a loss with what to do. What do you guys use?

    I put it on a plastic step stool :) (I have a crane one too)

    Does the stool have some sort of lip to it or do you never have issues with it leaking?

    Running it non stop all day and night for weeks it's never leaked for me.

    I have the Vicks one and I have it sitting on a stool. Mines never leaked either.

    Mine is on a small bookshelf from target that I bought specifically for a place to put the humidifier, since the only other furniture we had in the room suitable was the dresser, but that is also the changing table and the side table for the rocker.

    We are ghetto I guess and flipped over a laundry basket to put it on for now.

    Totally going to have to do this when i buy a humidifier. Supposed to get cold Tuesday and was wondering where I would put it since LO is in our room In RNP and my nightstand is full.
