My son (19mos) has a glider in his room that was a lifesaver in the first year but it's rarely used now because he sleeps through the night and done nursing. DH and I are trying to decide if we want to buy another glider or just transfer DS's to new baby room. My best friend has two little ones and recommended keeping the glider and getting an additional for baby 2's room (her boys are 2 and 4, mine will be about 2 year apart) because she's used when they are both sick, etc. and was glad she had one in each room. DH doesn't want to buy another glider and just transfer to baby 2's room.
1. Are you buying a second glider if you have a toddler + this one on the way? Or do you have two little ones and two gliders and think two is the way to go?
2. Glider does not match scheme I want for baby 2 so if we do transfer I'd like to recover the cushions with new fabric or get slip covers. Anyone done this or investigated? I saw a few patterns/covers online but wanted some opinions or stories on how a recover went.
