@redsaffron water broke!! L&D here she comes! UPDATE #5 SHE'S HERE!

@redsaffron is headed to L&D right now!! She's 38 weeks today, let's wish her a safe and quick delivery. Good luck mama, I'm thinking of you.


1st update: 1 1/2-2cm dilated, 70% effaced, no contractions. They want her to labor on her own for 2 hours, and if nothing happens, they will start pitocin. Her mom went home to make musubis and she even brought the nurses sushi!! 

2nd update: Started pitocin about 50 minutes ago, but no regular contractions. They will up her drip every half hour till it becomes regular.

3rd update: As of 8pm HST, she is 4cm dilated and she got the epidural, which she loves! No baby yet, so come on little one! Your mama is hungry. Lol

4th update: She is 8cm dilated now and 90% effaced! Let's hope the next update will be when baby is here! :)

@redsaffron gave birth at 3:50 am HST after 1 1/2 hour of pushing. Shes 7lbs 11 oz and 20"! I don't have further details, but will update if/when I get any. CONGRATS!
