Bracing myself for the call that FET #3 is another BFN for us. I've been having on and off bleeding and cramping since Thursday. I POAS this morning at 9dp5d FET and it was stark white. Not even a hint of a second line. Where is the light at the end of this tunnel?
The heartbreak hasn't hit me yet. Right now I'm feeling bitter and so drained. I haven't told DH - I don't even know what to say anymore. This will be our 4th "unexplained" failed transfer. Our RE had mentioned PGD as our next step, but I have no idea how we'll afford it. Plus our karyotyping was normal, shouldn't that be an indicator that we've been working with at least some genetically "normal" embryos?
Thank you all for letting me vent. I'm beyond thankful for the support I have found on this board. I just wish that none of us had to go through this.

IVF #4: Antagonist protocol with endometrial scratch day one of stims. ER 4/21: 6R/4M/3F- transferred 2 beautiful blasts (5dt) and one was hatching! No frosties but hoping we won't need it! A simple way of thinking about the difference between karyotyping and PGS is that karyotyping is looking to see if you have any major structural abnormalities on your chromosomes such as a balanced translocation (where parts of 2 different chromosomes swap) or if a chunk of a chromosome is missing. PGS is basically counting chromosomes to make sure your embryos don't have the wrong number (such as 3 copies of chromosome 21 which is Downs). So these are definitely testing for different things, and you can have normal karyotyping but easily produce embryos that don't have the correct number of chromosomes. Anyone can produce an embryo with only one copy of a particular chromosome or 3 copies, but as you get older, the odds of this happening greatly increases.
