  Thinking of you both.  I had a 4x6 cm benign tumor removed from my left frontal lobe 2 years ago.  I had very little pain afterwards (the incision was numb and that was about it), but did get some intense headaches during recovery and have had a couple seizures since related to lack of sleep + continued healing.  Hopefully the removal of the mass will also cause his symptoms to disappear and he won't need further treatment.  Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
