I honestly stopped counting at some point, but it wasn't THAT many (in my opinion). But if we are counting 5 as whorish, then I guess I'm a big ol' slut. I didn't get married until I was 36, though. Don't regret (most of) it - makes me appreciate what I have now even more. (And some of those fellas were SMOKIN' hot, I tell ya...)

I've only been with 2 men and married both of them. Would've been just one, but the first one passed. My first husband had been with 7 others before me, and it made me feel insecure and inadequate at times (but that was just all in my head; he never made me feel that way. He said if he could've gone back and changed it, he would've waited for me. :x ) And I'm the first woman my current husband has ever been with and even kissed, and that's a great feeling for me! He can't compare me to anyone else.

Not that other good husbands would do that, but again, that's how my dumb mind works.

DH is #4. The first two were inexperienced and just not good, but I was young (17-18) and so were they, so it's perfectly understandable. The third was more experienced, but not as good as DH. #1 and #3 were douchebags. #2 was sweet, but as far as the relationship was concerned, I just wasn't into it. We should have been friends only. DH is the only one I don't regret at all. X_X

I'm sorry you feel that way. :-?? I don't think anyone should feel that way if they're comparing themselves to others. If you're fine with your personal standards and feel that you haven't compromised them, then you should feel okay with yourself. At one point in time, I was messing around with this guy who had a girlfriend, and I felt like a whore because I wasn't living up to the standards I had for myself. But according to someone else's standards, they might not have considered my actions to be whoreish. Does that make sense? /:)

ETA: Oh. No one "loved" this. I'm going to take that as everyone agrees that I was being a whore at that time in my life. Good to know.

Uhm, I'm at way more than 5 and proud of it. I dated quite a few people, fell in love a couple of times and now I'm extremely secure in my relationship with DH. I test drove quite a few Hondas before i found my Ferrari! I got married at 27 and was "active" for 10 years so its really not a huge deal to me. I was careful, never got a disease and enjoyed my college years.

This exactly. I had only 1 person I had slept with at 21 who I thought I would marry and then we split. I definitely went a little wild for awhile before meeting my dh but I wouldn't take it back. I def had to kiss a few frogs to find my prince (and a few hot frogs as well
