  You get the money back 6-10 weeks after your due date I believe I was told.
  Not sure about the discount.

  They send you a coupon for 15% off the items not purchased on your registry. It's not a credit or check in the mail. Or 20% if you use or open your bru credit card. And you get an additional 10% off if you are having twins!! They called me a few weeks ago to tell me about it and tell me that my coupon was mailed
  
  Call your local bru and they will explain everything to you. They also suggested to add other things to my registry that I may want once my shower is over so I can get the discount

  From what I was told, the item has to be on your registry, but maybe you can add something after it has been purchased to still get credit for it?  I would definitely call and ask... I couldn't find anything about it on their website.

  Tip: every time I go into BRU I add whatever I'm about to purchase to my registry so I get credit towards the gift card for my purchases.

  I originally made a registry with BRU for that exact reason, but found things were so much cheaper over Amazon it kind of made the 10% back pointless for me. Now I'm only registered through Amazon - the old ladies are going to have to deal with it!
