So I was reading research that says babies can recognize their mother's smell and that if you sleep with an item for a few nights your smell rubs off on it. I'm returning to work in about a week (freaking out) and I'm toying with the idea of sleeping with burp cloths in my bed so that my smell wares off on them. Do you think this would help my caretakers because it would help soothe her, or just make my baby want me more? Has anyone else had this desperate and hair brained idea like me?
