Rug burn remedies?

A has begun army crawling like a fiend, but it has come with a wicked rug burn on both knees and sometimes his belly (through layers of clothes). Right now I am applying Aquaphor each night bed, but was wondering if others had suggestions?  It doesn't seem to bother him.
