Re: Is anyone here from the UK or Ireland?

  • I'd love to have twins actually, OH would love it too as I've mentioned it and he just smiled and said if it is we will be just fine :-) I think he secretly wants three kids but this is definitely my last pregnancy though.

  • I'm older by a minute! My mum had an emergency c section as we came three months early! This to is my last pregnancy (it's mine and my partners first child together). How many other children do you have? X
  • Whatever @BPaws. Your country spawned Justin bieber and avril lavigne. Y'all should just get your own board and leave this one to the Amuricans.

We just have 1 so far, he was married before but they had no kids.

Does your guy have any other kids?

Why do the crazies always assume everyone is American?

As a Canadian, I personally am offended. We work hard to be recognized, the least you can do is acknowledge we exist as well.

Hmmmm didn't realize all of those people are Canadian. Interesting.

Why do you get credit for donuts/doughnuts

  • My partner has three from previous relationship and I had two from previous relationship. And all the kids get on and we often have a house full with them here lol. How old is your first child? I've left a really big gap (Jordan 12 and Mya nearly 9)!! Are you going to find out if your having a boy or girl at your 20 week scan? Xx

@iris427 As a preemptive apolgogy, we offered poutine. That should cover the Biebs, Lavigne AND Celine Dion. We are still working on an apology for Nickleback. While Newfie Screech may not taste amazing, if you drink enough of it the music is manageable.
I can't say poutine out loud. For some reason, it sounds dirty to me and makes me squirm.

  • I love poutine ohsomuch. However you guys don't get to take credit for Kraft mac n cheese, although I think Canada *is* the worlds largest consumer of it.

  • @BPaws sorry, to make up for nickelback, you have to hand over the Horseshoe Falls. We aren't going to just forget how nickelback have assaulted our ears for so many years.

Along with Horseshoe Falls, I'd like to aquire Banff as well. I mean, it is Nickleback we're talking about. AND Chad went and married Avril and just intensified it all 2x

I keep forgetting we're local comrades. Yep, same thing as Disco Fries, lol

  • Well your prime minister can always issue a formal apology. I don't know his name because we Americans don't like to actually learn about other countries, it's unpatriotic.

  • No worries on the horseshoe falls. We have the better view and park anyway. Just don't pay any attention to the ghetto that surrounds it. I'm from Niagara Falls ;)

I believe some of my US friends have something called poutine that is a deep fried delicious sounding something- but I'm not sure what. That's why I included a picture! I love the different names for things. Like our Smarties (which are actually not Canadian) and your smarties.
Maybe you're thinking of funnel cake? It is quite delicious...

I don't know if we can convince Harper, but Rob Ford seems fairly easy to manipulate. I'm sure with a little bit of persuasion in crack rock form, he would happily issue an apology.
He's not Prime Minister, but he was once the mayor of one of our favourite cities.

LOL I bet you are right. I love Toronto.

Omg, similar to mozzarella sticks (not sure if you have them there in Canada), but usually made with cheddar. Best when dipped in ranch (we dip everything in ranch here in the Midwest)

YES. I've never had one myself- but I'm willing to accept a package of them!
