Super low movement?

So I *think* I've been feeling movement the last week or so. I'm one of the anterior placenta mom's, and I've been feeling little roll like movements throughout my abdomen. Could it be gas? Maybe. Who even knows what's happening in my body anymore. I'm 92% sure it's the baby though. Tonight as I'm sitting at the computer, I've felt some of those rolling feelings super low. Close to the pubic-bone area. Can movement be that low too? I never got to feel movement w/ my prior pregnancy, so I'm on new territory here.

Re: Super low movement?

  • I swear I was just flicked in the cervix. This little Ute monster seems to always be facing down.

  • Rolling feeling super low sounds like what my tiny one is doing these days. I felt him kick my bladder today. Weirdest feeling ever. Enjoy the beginning of the movements! They can get intense sometimes, but such a lovely feeling.

  • I'm also feeling baby pretty low- that's mostly where I feel him for now (AP here as well)! :)

  • At my a/s they said my LO is already head down and she stays really low. She also really likes to keep her hands up by her head (she was doing this at my elective scan, the redo elective, and a/s) most of the movements I feel are all low around my pubic bone. I've just started feeling some higher in the last week or so . I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow.
  • Nope, that sounds about right! Sometimes I get fabulous bladder jabs that make me almost pee my pants/other times it just feels like she's tumbling around/tapping on my cervix.

  • I get jabbed in the bladder and cervix both. Most movement is down low, I've gotten a couple up higher this past week but it's rare.

  • I have an anterior placenta too and the few movements I've felt have been low.  I know because of my doppler that baby is pretty low anyway, but it makes sense that you'd feel movement low because of the AP.  Especially because the top of your uterus is only around your belly button right now.

  • Although I am only 18 weeks I have been feeling constant movement any time I am sitting in one position or after I have eaten a meal for two weeks already. The other night I felt movement so low I could have sworn JR's foot was gana peak out. Needless to say, it was quite uncomfortable.
  • Thanks for reassuring me. I was kind of worried that I was supposed to feel movement there. :)

  • I'm 19 weeks and I've only been feeling movement near my pubic bone, obviously as we progress it'll get higher.

    Congrats on feeling baby!

When I went for my ultrasound his head was by my belly button and feet down by my public bone, that's the only place I've been feeling him move :)
  • Hey @cheries321 ... you're abusing the flag button. Stop that.

As for LO sometimes it's really low, down by my pubic bone, sometimes it's higher, around my belly button and up in to my ribs. I just imagine LO swimming laps in my ute.

  • I'm feeling her super low and super strong, I think she might be practicing her punching for her debut as the only girl amongst four boys.
I would agree not comfortable but still glad I can feel here.

  • Yep, it can be that low. DS stayed lodged practically in my crotch for weeks before I felt anything higher. This baby is super low too, right behind my pubic hair line.

Same with me - I just found I have AP, but have been feeling the flips in my lower abdomen for the past 2 weeks.

  • I also have an anterior placenta and I feel LO stomping the yard on my bladder, and I feel him punching me close to my ribs. Yup, he's a breech baby.
