2013 Here's the Door, see ya!

So what are you leaving behind in 2013?

May & June sucked, August was rough, then December bombed. Lost my cat, got AF all on CHristmas Eve, just found my cousin 3 months younger then me is 2 months pregnant.

Yup 2013 although better then 2012....don't let the door hit you on your way out....

On a positive note going to try couch 2 5k, starting 2nd week january (my bday is the 2nd so another year closes I get another year older).

My Ovulation Chart


Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
3 cycles clomid with Ob,
1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    Good luck with the run Heather. 2013 was a blur for me so 2014 has to be better. I say I'm going to get healthy but we will see.

    I said the same thing about 2011 and 2012 but each year got worse... I lost my 19 yr old cat (b&w one below)at Xmas time 2 years ago. Big hugs. It was awful.

    TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
    DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
    5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
    OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
    DE IVF#1 11/12 bad embryos= BFN
    DE IVF #2 2/13 BFP/Beta hell: m/c 5w6d
    CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE
    DE IVF #3 1/14  ET 4BB; BFP;M/C 5w1d, incomplete m/c; MVA extraction in ER 7w1d

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    I'm leaving behind an incredibly up and down year.  Lots of good, lots of bad.  Hoping that 2014 will be just all ups and no downs....except for the scale...I won't be sad about some downs on that ;)   HAHAHA

    I wish I could say I'm leaving the damn waiting list behind but it is going to follow me into the new year. I just want to do A cycle.

    Hugs and sending you all strength for the new year :) Hang in there ladies as I'm sure it is so hard for some. Hugs..hugs and more hugs!!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    We started 2013 recovering from a miscarriage and haven't had any kind of action or or anything close to a pregnancy since the loss.  So, this year hasn't been particularly bad or good on the reproductive front.  Oh well.  I'm going to try to get myself in a better place physically and mentally over the next 3 months and make a decision about to what degree we are going to pursue treatment.  

    Here's to 2014! May it be kind.

    My year had a lot of ups and downs. Im praying this year is smooth and less stressful. I also hope to spend some quality time with me, myself, and I ...lol. I tend to take care of everyone but me....here's hoping for a great 2014 for all you wonderful ladies:-)

    Again, a year filled with some ups and downs.  I'm keeping hope alive that 2014 will be a better year.  I hope to lose a couple of pounds too!

    I started testing with the RE in Jan 2013. I just new I would conceive by the end of 2013. I guess 13 is an unlucky number. I'm hoping for better luck next year. My DH thinks we will conceive in Jan, which is my birth month and give birth in Oct which is his birth month.
    Me: 37; DH: 35, SA normal ttc 1st since 11/2011 1/2013: HSG 2/2013-4/2013: acupuncture 3/2013: SHG 4/9/13: lap removed stage 2 endo & ovarian cyst 9/2013-11/2013: Clomid 3x 12/2013: IUI/superO 2013: spent $4,900 on treatment Waiting until 1/2015 for IVF insurance

    I had an awesome year... mostly. The winter was mild, the spring started early, I spent March to august outside in my garden, enjoying life, got a bfp, felt miserable, had a miscarriage ending my year as one of the worst years... it is funny how 1 event can ruin things. I had 9 good months. I am trying to look at it the way my dr does at least I know I can get pregnant... but before was easier because I didn't hope or expect to. I hope 2014 brings some joy to everyone.

    @rubysi that's a great attitude! I also have to remember that even though this cycle might not work I have a wonderful husband who truly does put up with me ( I can be difficult), a nice house, parents who are still healthy even with a cancer diagnosis and great friends.

    So glad to see 2013 go!  While I had some amazing times with my DH and I am blessed beyond measure... WOW was it a tough year.  Primarily my miscarriage... While I will never get over it, I am hoping 2014 will let me move on from it and bring us our rainbow baby!

     IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
    - poor responder
    ***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    @MrsMcIrish My baby was would have turned 19 this week, so she was short of 19 by a few days. Thank you for the hugs, its so hard to let go of our fur babies, and she WAS my fur baby! :) Loved her I think more then DH ;)

    Ladies some of you have expressed wonderful sentiments of looking at the positives, thank you. I tend to forget to look around and see the good, and focus on what I am struggling with....so NYE resolutions, try to be healthier, spirit, mind & body!!!
