At the hospital with Jeter

He's only taken 5oz of formula today and he threw that up. Brought him in for IV fluids and they did an ultrasound. His pyloris is thick and it's most likely pyloris stenosis. We are waiting on transport to the children's hospital where we will determine if he needs surgery or not. Thoughts and prayers appreciated.

Thank you all so much. They are waiting on a call back from one of the children's hospitals to find one with a bed. Been at the hospital for 6.5 hours. My poor baby is finally acting hungry and I can't feed him. It breaks my heart.

New hospital says surgeon will come talk to us in the morning. 99% certain he will have surgery tomorrow. He has a confirmed dx of pyloric stenosis. What really sucks is for the first time in over 24 hours he actually wants to eat and I can't feed him.

he just cries because he's so hungry. It's breaking my heart.

Hey, lady! I'm a Jan14-er (but had my baby Saturday!).

My DS1 had pyloric stenosis, requiring surgery at 8 weeks old.
