Huge step!

Well it's offical we have filled out our very first huge packet of adoption paperwork! We will be mailing it out on Monday. So crazy all the in depth question they make you answer about yourself and your relationship with your parents and husband. Me and DH had a good time filling it all out and are very excited to get this ball rolling. Classes should begin in January so here we go!
Me 34 and DH 39 married in aug. 2002
Did 5 round of clomid 2010 =BFN
 High levels of NK CELLS DX sept.2012 DOR:# 0.02 
IVF #1 May 2012  ER 4, EF 2, ET 2 =BFN
MINI IVF Oct.2012  Cancelled 10-27-12
Ivf #3 Antagonist Protocol April 2013
Shared cycle..Donor cycled in July Got 12 eggs 9 fertilized and 8 frozen!!
DE FET #1 Sept. 3rd 2013 FIRST BFP EVER 5dp5dt
miscarried Sept 24th at 5 weeks 5 days
Etopic  D&C and hysterscopy Nov 5 2013
dx with pre genetic blood clotting dec 2013
FET #2 Jan 31st  2014 
Miscarried for a second time again at 5 weeks 5 days
Currently fostering to adopt an amazing little 1 year old boy..P.J!
FET#3  is Oct 29th 2014
BFN on fet #3
Last and FINAL FET coming JAN 28th 2015

    Congrats!  We are on the last part of our package - the questions.  18 sections of questions.  Some of them are nice and easy and others?  Not so much. "Explain your feelings on corporal punishment". Really?!  I understand they are trying to get to know us better but it's insane. And then I keep thinking I'm putting too much into an answer and making it too long and then I'm worried that some answers are too short.  If my DH did his by himself, it would have been 2 pages - tops.  Right now, we stand about 5-6 pages each.

    Good luck!! It is a crazy amount of paperwork, but congrats on a huge first step!

    After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption!  We are so excited to see what the future holds.

    Lacy I'm so excited for you!! I think the paperwork would of scared me and MH! A friend tried to encourage me but like you know...trying DE. Hope rest of process goes smoothly for you :)

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Thanks ladies. We mailed it off and took a little photo with the packet today!!! Makes me get butterflies just thinking about it bein in the mail now!!!

    I did the same thing when we took our packet to the post office! :)

    We did this too!  It is kinda fun getting to document the process of making a family in a way that most people don't get to do.  Congrats on getting started!

    3/14 Surprise BFP 11/14 DD is here!

    Not sure but if we do night classes it's 9 weeks but our SW said that she may bundle in three classes into one sat class so we could get them done faster!!!
