It sounds great but is quite an investment at $400. But may be worth your mind at ease while baby is asleep. Says that they can still breathe fine through the mattress if they roll themselves over in the night.

  • Not sure what you need help with, but I would not buy that $400 crib mattress.

    Did that help?

  • Anybody heard of or tried this machine washable mattress?
  • This is a confusing product to me. How does it stay firm if it's just fabric stretched across the top? Looks entirely too complicated, just go for a normal firm waterproof matress and you'll be golden.

  • I wouldn't. Waterproof mattress pads and/or a waterproof mattress should be more than sufficient to keep the mattress clean and they won't break the bank. That mattress is way too much especially considering it isn't able to be an infant and toddler mattress- it's strictly infant.

Just an honest opinion, not meaning to come off as abrasive.
  • My suggestion is to buy a waterfroof mattress (most are anyway) and use a waterproof pad under the sheet.  That way you don't have to constantly wipe off the mattress but if there is a leak that makes it through the pad you can.  Use the extra $250+ dollars on something else.

Look at ikea if you want something washable. It has a cover that is padded and zips off to so that you can wash it. They are also much cheaper ours was only 80$ and that was a top of the line one.
