When to have shower?

I'm a FTM and just wondering when is the traditional time to have a shower? I'm due June 1st. Any/all suggestions welcome :)

    April-ish is probably a good time. That includes late march to early may.

    I was due May 22nd, and had my shower April 23rd.

    It's really up to the host; however, I don't see anything wrong with giving them some guidelines if they ask you for your input.  I agree with PP that any time between 30-36 weeks is okay.
